I can't give it to either player but it was Z-man that stepped up after Volchenkov blasted Moulson into another area code. Right now the New Jersey Devils are the worst team in the NHL which is unbelievable given that the Hockey News and other experts had them finishing in the thick of things this year.

Mair isnt punching bag. This is CLEAR DRAW in my eyes. Mair landed usually a good punch as Konopka was more active puncher here but he doenst land all of his attempts.

It looks like Mair didn't really wanna fight. Not much going on in this one. If anything, slight edge to Konopka for showing some desire to actually fight and not hug.

Considering what little fighting actually took place... Pop-tarts seemed to have a slight edge over, the rarely victorious, Mair. Hey hairball...I know you got posted making an awkward, rookie, open-ice stab at the puck... but do you think you could skate to the bench any slower, ya tool?

What other kind of hippie is there? I remember I was a kid the hippies would run around naked at the beach and then the cops would come and beat them with billy clubs. It was the best thing really. There was always some fat hippie chick say "it's OK little one" while she stood there on the beach like a great mound of blubber. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa no it's not OK. The last think an 8 year old kid needs is to see a fat hippie chick naked at the beach. I am lucky that I am not some kind of psychopath after that. Konopka with a slight edge, the underarm duck works three times. Mair is going after it in a more traditional manner until he is tired of Konopka's underarm duck, so he drives him into the boards, when that doesn't work he pulls the jersey into the face.

Dirty Elbow Shot on Moulson, but the league will do nothing. The NHL never suspends anyone who cheapshots an Islanders. COLON Campbell sucks at life!

Nothin' much here - draw. Konopka may get in a lot of fights and pile-up the minutes, but he's basically a wrestler/jersey-tugger.
