Barch fights guys way to big for him. He's not a bad fighter, but always out matches by bigger guys.

Belak beat the CRAP out of Barchs helmet..

Posted by bruiseyoureye on December 29, 2010 at 03:28 AM

dirty very dirty hit by belak......good for barch to standing up to a guy twice his size and making a draw......kudos to love to have barch on my team....not so much for belak.

Posted by mullet33 on December 29, 2010 at 09:37 AM

Poor Barch - he just doesn't have the size to fight the heavy-weights. Also seems reluctant to mix it up these days. Maybe his first goal in 90+ games will spark a new role for the Stars - heck put him on the Richards/Erikson line, can't be no worse than Sutherby..... WIn Belak

Posted by DARCY T on December 30, 2010 at 09:06 AM

belak threw bunch of rights but barch did a good job to avoid all of them except 1 or 2 and then exhuasted held on to barch's jersey

Posted by MrMagooo on December 29, 2010 at 09:15 PM

Belak with win for landing the only punches but weak cause he held on for life at the end

Posted by riffraff on December 29, 2010 at 01:46 AM

belaks a talentless goon obviously. guess nashville has to fill tootoos role somehow. thats what happens when all you got is Barch.

Posted by Riomouse911 on December 29, 2010 at 12:47 AM

Bitch elbow by WB couldv'e been a damaging one, should be damaging to the pocketbook. He won the fight, but lost a lot of respect.

Posted by pepsigenerate on December 29, 2010 at 01:39 AM

Belak with the win, barch hangs on to Belaks throwing hand to void getting an azz whipping.

Posted by slavv on December 30, 2010 at 09:40 PM

Credit to Barch for steppin' up to challenge a punk move by Belak, who not only is 6'5 and felt he had to leave his feet to lay someone out, but that apparently wasn't enough so he threw an elbow to the head. Lost some respect for Belak here...

Posted by m4rine77 on December 28, 2010 at 11:24 PM

ehh, not much of a fight. barch realized he was overpowered so he just held on to that right arm with all his might. i gave the win to belak because he showed to be the aggressor and landed a few rights.

Posted by Double Nickels on January 02, 2011 at 06:52 PM

WADE BELAK is still alive? Really? That's nice.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on December 29, 2010 at 02:07 AM

Barch had to step up to Belak because apparentley Fistric's vagina got the best of him. All Belak in this one.

Posted by fernben8 on December 29, 2010 at 12:33 AM

How can you not like Barch's work ethics ? There were two other Dallas players ahead of Barch who could have and should have confronted Belak but were too intimidated and skated away, Leaving the dirty work for Barch. Barch is just no match for Belak, hangs on defensively. Barch can play for my team anyday, would be nice to see him traded to the east coast. Nice to see Belak back !

Posted by sedinfan on December 29, 2010 at 12:02 AM

Does Barch have a death wish or is he just stupid? The guy should quit fighting or stick to middleweights.

Posted by BelakWilKilYou on December 28, 2010 at 10:56 PM

Belak finally gets into a game [4th game this month and only 8th this year] and I guess he felt a bit frisky. If Robidas had touched the puck [looked like it just bounced over his stick], would've been a clean hit. As it was - interference was absolutely right. No elbow. Paused at the point of impact it's head-to-shoulder, and the elbow comes up on the follow-through. Belak wins the fight, but it's nothing special. Hopefully he can get some more action, though.

Posted by Big_Goon on December 29, 2010 at 10:57 AM

Barch had no option, he had to respond after that ultra dirty hit. When he did Belak dominated him, I was surpised to see Barch survive as well as he did. Domination Belak. 6.5% Draw? Are the blind voting???

Posted by The DZA on December 28, 2010 at 11:43 PM

Lots of energy from Belak! Guess thats what happens when you play once in a blue moon though.

Posted by LA KING FANATIC on December 29, 2010 at 06:17 PM

Who gave this fight to Barch? The best thing Barch did was get an arm bar on Belak's right arm.......

Posted by brazos on December 29, 2010 at 11:54 AM

Tis the season to give and receive. Belak gave and Barch received.

Posted by b.t.wilson on December 28, 2010 at 10:42 PM

ha ha, i love belak. but that hit was questionable to say the least. i couldn't find the elbow for the life of me, but interference certainly took place. barch being the nice guy he is says hey guy, you can't do that, and then is the unfortunate recipient of a pummeling. where is bazooka benn when you need him? seems like the big hit and fight may have fired up the boys, but outshooting the stars nearly two to one didn't make a difference for the preds in the end anyways. damn.

Posted by staceyb on December 29, 2010 at 06:56 AM

Barch = punching bag. Barch went on to score a goal in the decisive third period. Meanwhile Belak got three shifts and a whopping 1:54 TOI. Time to hang up the skates, Wade.

Posted by bruins rule on December 29, 2010 at 06:44 AM

belak gets the win in this fight.

Win for Belak, I noticed he played against Chicago a few days age and wouldn't skate near Scott!

Posted by arctic_chill on December 29, 2010 at 08:47 AM

Belak shows that he can still chuck the knuckles , not a great hit but nice to see Belak back in action . Why did the Leafs get rid of this guy........ because Burke likes the little ballerinas he has brought in lol.

Posted by gkcs7 on December 30, 2010 at 10:29 AM

well belak is back and looks like he wants to make it known!...not many tougher, all w.b. here.

Posted by billgoldberg14 on December 29, 2010 at 12:31 PM

Love seeing Barch get beat up, which seems like it's every time he drops the gloves

Posted by FrankLexy on December 28, 2010 at 11:58 PM

Belak's first fight of the year, he's mos def over the hill, yet he's the only one throwin in this one. Criddy must have been tired, lol

Posted by EDDUBBS on December 30, 2010 at 01:35 AM

Barch gets a 10 for holding on and a "10" for the arm bar and a "10" for not getting killed.

Posted by Behn Wilson on December 29, 2010 at 02:55 AM

Belak absolutely pastes Robidas, and Barch is forced to step in... and take a beating on his behalf. Belak reminds everyone that he can still throw 'em, when the need arises.

Posted by lb1631 on December 29, 2010 at 12:31 PM

Hey Barch why fight is your just going to get the crap beat out of. Belak crushes him.

Posted by ENFORCER 24 on December 29, 2010 at 05:08 AM

A "filthy elbow"! Then Barch gets owned.

Posted by moneybags on December 29, 2010 at 02:22 AM

barf was lost in this one

Posted by hughcares on December 29, 2010 at 10:43 AM

Great hit by Belak and then he wipes the floor with Barch. Come on Barch, if you are going to try and send a message it shouldn't be that you are willing to get your teeth knocked in.

Posted by rocky 1 on December 30, 2010 at 12:08 AM

Posted by Bluetiedown44 on December 29, 2010 at 12:59 AM

Belak"s Beating of Barch. Bad hit by Belak, then Fistric and Barch give Belak the business. Belak was itching.

Posted by slshbleed on December 29, 2010 at 12:00 PM

You can be stupid and have a death wish as well.

Posted by Santokh_Gill on December 29, 2010 at 03:59 PM

wow a wade belak sighting

Posted by Boogeyman2383 on December 29, 2010 at 03:00 PM

Omg is that who i think it is or did he pay some dope to wear his jersey?!?!

Posted by Oil Can Henry on December 29, 2010 at 03:10 AM

Belak was simply following-through on the hit - no elbow. He gets the decision, also,...all Barch could do was lock-him-up.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on December 29, 2010 at 11:01 AM

YES! Belak is back form the dead. Still has something to offer. Maybe a little more ice time with Tootoo out for a bit. Or somone to come in for him, plenty of teams need to add some toughness.

Posted by durka on January 28, 2011 at 09:39 AM

Belak had to be just itching to drop the gloves after sitting on the bench the whole season
