I'm seeing a draw, not much landed.

Posted by Bad Dawg on January 06, 2011 at 08:42 AM

Whole lot of nothing!!!

Posted by LA KING FANATIC on January 06, 2011 at 10:56 AM

The punches were pawing each other, no energy to the shots Yawn, a draw

Posted by staceyb on January 06, 2011 at 06:30 AM

Belak getting maximum camera coverage from one of his three shifts and 1:50 TOI. Nashville has some top defensive prospects (Ryan Ellis, Charles-Olivier Roussel and others) coming up in their system so surely this blueline boat anchor will be gone next season.

Posted by pepsigenerate on January 05, 2011 at 11:21 PM

calling it a draw, not much to decide.

Posted by gmann14 on January 06, 2011 at 12:00 PM

boring fight, parros has good balance thats like saying sean avery isn't an a-hole.

Posted by GCBC00 on January 08, 2011 at 02:54 AM

Decent dust up. George Parros with balance....yeah of Bambi! Seriously, good to see Wade Belak more active lately. Definitely on his way out of the league, but can still get er' done when the bell rings. DRAW

Posted by crazyschwaab on January 06, 2011 at 06:47 PM

ugh.... i never sign in to this site anymore, but i couldn't resist saying that the Nashville announcers seem to know as much as the Nashville fans when it comes to hockey.....

Posted by alexlegere2 on January 06, 2011 at 06:35 PM

great helmut and shoulder shots, and lots of dancing. a nothing draw

Posted by mjb_17 on January 07, 2011 at 01:31 AM

Is it the first time these two idiots have ever watched a hockey game??? These two are clowns.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on January 05, 2011 at 11:32 PM

expected alot more from these too. honestly, kind of boring fight

Posted by m4rine77 on January 05, 2011 at 11:09 PM

hmm, i didn't think a professional hockey player had to have balance. i guess i was wrong. parros is definately the clay matthews of hockey. rocking the stache and all. fight was a CLEAR draw and a 5. didn't live up to expectations but wasn't that bad.

Posted by fernben8 on January 06, 2011 at 11:11 AM

On paper, I would have thought that Belak would have come out on top... Expecting more from these two but got an uneventful Draw at best, Belak looked kind of odd at the end...his fist must have been tied up by his elbow pad. Gave it a 4. The support announcer has got to get his facts straight re- Parros (balance). Perhaps he'd be better off doing NFL games...

Posted by ProdigyTwin on January 08, 2011 at 10:11 AM

Big guys goin at it but not much happening here. Draw.

Posted by Behn Wilson on January 05, 2011 at 11:57 PM

An energetic, but ultimately, sloppy draw between two (according to the tale of the tape)... ''exactly even'' sized fighters. On the subject of ''Parrosian balance''... one of my all time favourite oxymoron's is... ...with apologies to my better half... ''Feminist Comedy''.

Posted by bluesfaninKY on January 06, 2011 at 10:32 AM

This fight had potential, but nothing serious connected.

Posted by paddyd on January 08, 2011 at 10:55 AM

A lot of activity with no harm done. DId he say Parros has balance? Must be the first time he saw the big boy go. He has as much balance as a drunken sailor!

Posted by Jellyczar on January 06, 2011 at 11:27 PM

Porno stache draws with carrot top ... very uninspired fight .... Parros known for his balance beam skills ???

Posted by legion31 on January 06, 2011 at 01:59 PM

draw in my book ))

Posted by BigRob1 on January 06, 2011 at 03:11 AM

Pretty fun comment by the announcer with the Parros and balance issue..LoL..ok fight DRAW.

Posted by sedinfan on January 05, 2011 at 10:55 PM

Good spirtited fight. Did I hear that announcer say that Parros has balance? He talked like Belak was in his first fight and should hang on for dear life. "Parros has balance", is that the definition of oxymoron?

Posted by TraverseCity on January 05, 2011 at 11:38 PM

I like Nashville, but their broadcasters have a long way to go...

Posted by Donnybrook44 on January 07, 2011 at 09:41 AM

Not too much happened in this match-up of 'Mr. Balance" and Mr, Bee-lack" Looked a little drunken and wobbly on both parts. Draw. I'm new to rating this site, but if you call a fight a "draw" why does it insist that you fill in "how lopsided was the fight?" Makes less sense than praising Parros' balance.

Posted by BrianTheAdsFan on January 06, 2011 at 02:40 PM

Draw as both got gassed by the end. The Stache stayed up pretty long in this one. Is his balance turning the corner or did Wade help him stay on his feet?

Posted by b.t.wilson on January 05, 2011 at 10:56 PM

ha ha ha big george parros. i was awaiting this fight with glee as i am a big fan of both. it certainly wasn't bad, but unfortunately neither could really get free. both landed a few, both missed a few, both threw half a punch as a cause of their arms being tied up, i can't see a more even fight. draw, 6.

Posted by rocky 1 on January 09, 2011 at 09:03 PM

Around and around we go with nothing landing! How else could you mark it except for a DRAW!George fighting much better this year!

Posted by bruins rule on January 05, 2011 at 10:50 PM

pretty even fight did not see any damage done. gave it a draw.

Posted by cmshort11 on January 06, 2011 at 03:27 AM

Even fight. Surprised Parros didnt fall over sooner considering he has the balance of a toddler.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on January 05, 2011 at 11:34 PM

Decent draw!

Posted by SABREHATRED on January 06, 2011 at 11:28 AM

Too close to call, sort of like a buffalo ugly chick contest!!! AHAHaHAHahahahah

Posted by ThrowdownSJ408 on January 06, 2011 at 12:56 AM

DRAW! Glad to see Belak fighting again!

Posted by Bear72 on January 06, 2011 at 10:26 AM

Sedinfan you misunstood the announcer, he said Parros could spell Balence and was a lot more than Belak Could..

Posted by KO22 on January 06, 2011 at 09:00 AM

I'm not a Parros fan, but this fight was worse than usual for him. Belak is not afraid to toss'em and it's great to see him back on the ice. I'm still appreciative toward Belak for ultimately retiring the oh so useless Donald "hug til he gives up" Brashear. The commentator in this particular broadcast is completely clueless, his "info" was hilariously irrelevant. Finally, Staceyb, why are you even on this forum? If you're worried about good young talent getting icetime, this is not the place for you. Finally, gave the scrap to Belak because he landed the only real shot, and I don't like Parros.

Posted by kevinator63 on January 08, 2011 at 09:25 PM

hate the sux!!

Posted by GregHawksFan on January 06, 2011 at 09:53 PM

Belak took on tough guy Parros and did OK against the tough guy

Posted by slavv on January 06, 2011 at 09:52 PM

To say Belak has had a subpar year is an understatement. He would've destroyed Parros 2 years ago, but Belak has fallen considerably. Parros with the sloppy win here...

Posted by Double Nickels on January 07, 2011 at 11:58 AM

Win Parros for how far he throws his gloves!

Posted by DARCY T on January 06, 2011 at 03:03 AM

if anybody got a worse balance than parros, its belak.he's hanging off parros's sleeve more than half of fight.parros had to hold a balance of both of them and still got the edge....rate it a 5

Posted by SOCALFAN on January 06, 2011 at 02:33 PM

There was a shot of Belak where he had a look in his eyes like he just got tagged, right after a shot that appeared to go off the helmet. Other than that not what I would call enough to rate anything other than a draw with two guys looking more to make sure the didn't get hammered more than trying to deliver the knock out.

Posted by BooSanta on January 07, 2011 at 02:44 PM

"He's got balance"?????????????????????????? Maybe Big Clumsy Stash landed a haymaker while falling on the color commentator in the press box before the game. Oddly enough the edge goes to BCS here because of that rare show of balance he puts on Belak to take him down in the end.

Posted by Luque1 on January 06, 2011 at 01:26 AM

Parros maybe more convincing and oriented in the scrap - slight edge for him.

Posted by YCCKK on January 05, 2011 at 11:15 PM

i'll take a guy with a stache..over a red-head any day. Parros got this one.

Posted by ajrs22890 on February 15, 2012 at 03:14 PM

Hard to believe that this was the last fight of Wade Belak's career and shortened life.

Posted by piney on January 10, 2011 at 03:31 PM

draw. fight's a 2

Posted by JCobra67 on January 06, 2011 at 07:28 PM

What a weird fight. Was that at the end of the shift? Those guys were throwing the softest punches I've ever seen out of either of them. Also, what was with the Parros has good balance comment? Does the announcer even watch the games?

Posted by Oil Can Henry on January 06, 2011 at 01:22 AM

....well,....it didn't put me sleep, anyway,.....

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on January 06, 2011 at 03:13 AM

Few shots connecting from each fighter, nothing to write home about thou. DRAW.

Posted by chad420 on January 07, 2011 at 10:27 AM

Posted by hncreature on January 06, 2011 at 01:00 AM

That looked like slow motion with nothing behind those punches...lots of swinging and some semi connecting but nothing of significance - Weird fight and a draw

Posted by Boogeyman2383 on January 05, 2011 at 11:18 PM

Parros has balance?... I think the commentator got f*cked too hard by his boyfriend now he can't think properly... Draw in an ok fight

Posted by hockeyherman on January 06, 2011 at 01:41 PM

I didn't even know that Belak was still in the league!

Posted by Tony Esposito on January 06, 2011 at 08:17 PM

Belak's better days are behind him.....and to touch on it yet again........Parros and balance.....ha ha ha.

Posted by durka on January 28, 2011 at 10:45 AM

belak didnt dominate like he did with barch. win parros despite the piggy back ride at the end
