Meaningless, extracurricular draw. The hit seemed only half dirty, with the other half having some to do with Moen's skating ability...or lack thereof.

draw...and btw MOEN LOST HIS FOOTING??? wtf, homer announcers are always worthy of laugh. he was pushed for sure

i don't think "moen lost his footing," but i certainly don't think a guy like phillips would ever intentionally hurt someone like that. calling this a draw and a 3, not a big fan of a takedown when things seem to just get going.

not much going on here.

The announcer say I think "Moen just lost his balance"?????? Huh, not a homer at all after an obvious crosscheck to the back. Sapunka16, do you think any of us actually read those posts? If this was radio, I would appreciate the feedback, but since it is live for us all to see, I don't get your 1000 word essays.

As Travis Moen attempts to crash towards the net with the puck, Chris Phillips pushes him in the back, drawing a weak cross-checking penalty after Moen falls down and slides into the boards. After the whistle, a few Canadiens including Wisniewski and Hamrlik come over and have words for Philips. As the two teams come together, White and Lee shove each other a few times and drop the gloves. White starts by landing a right, Lee misses a right as White ducks under it. White swings his left arm around to Lee's back to grab him, and attempts a short right that doesn't land. Lee has him held away as White attempts two more rights, the first missing and the second one landing very soft. Lee uses a body shot to the rib area. White fails to reach with another right, Lee still having him locked out good. Lee misses with another right, but the off-balance White stumbles a bit, Lee then loses his balance and tries to go for a takedown. White resists, but both eventually go to their knees. Once they go down, they are still holding on but do nothing else, as the linesman come in quickly. This is a draw, since White only lands a soft one on the chin, and Lee only lands the body shot. Lee did a good job of locking out White with his left hand and definitely had the advantage, I think he would've won if this one didn't end so early and awkwardly. White lands 1/5, Lee lands 1/2.

Was Lee trying to break White's arm?

Draw for a slight fight, with a takedown.

White chucks and Lee goes "Oh crap" and wrestles White to the ice. White is a tough kid!

Another case in point why a coaching change is due any day in Ottawa: Chris Neil was skating around looking for a fight in frustration of another blowout loss on home ice. He took a stick in the face and left the game, so the Sens took to even more cheapshots. Kudos to Ryan White for stepping in trying to get at Chris Phillips who should get a game or two off.

Looked to me like Lee just wanted to get out of finishing the fight. So he pulled White down to the ice. White was the aggressor and started the punches flying. White wins because he made Lee go looking for a back door.

It appears he lost his footing....Phillips is not that type of player.
