draw at 3, jersey jabs are about as meaningful as a take down

Posted by fernben8 on February 14, 2011 at 01:06 PM

The jersey jabs by Sutton were more annoying than functional for the fight. Calling it a weak draw.

Posted by DARCY T on February 14, 2011 at 11:11 AM

draw and gave it 4

Posted by staceyb on February 14, 2011 at 05:36 PM

At least Theo Kojak tried to make it a fight. I won't vote winner for anyone who persists in employing the jersey jab tactic.

Sutton early and Peckham late so Draw!

crap fight......edge sutton i guess.

For a second there, it looked like Gord Kluzak vs. Glen Anderson... in other words...not a good fight.

Pretty calculated and Sutton's reach was too much for Peckham. 10 rabbit puches to 1 glancing blow. No extra points for Peckham dry humping Sutton on the take down. Win to Sutton.

I only picked AS because he did annoy TP with the jabs. Then he flopped down. Boo.

Sutton with the narrow win...

Posted by mudman55 on February 14, 2011 at 01:08 PM

Peckham giving up too much reach here. Jabs count, people.

Posted by NotoriousT on February 13, 2011 at 11:00 PM

WTF is Peckham thinking? Maybe Sutton will tire himself out? Waits till Sutton throws a right then 8 Jersey jabs before he even tries to get into the fight. Win Sutton

Posted by SOCALFAN on February 14, 2011 at 11:32 AM

Peckham heart- well at least when he is hitting smaller guys like Jason Blake on that shift.

Posted by Towmater on February 13, 2011 at 11:16 PM

Peckerham takes timeout from not skating and taking stupid penalties to get jersey jabbed into submission by Sutton. Theo should be in the ECHL, only on the worst team in the league does that d-bag take a roster spot.

sutton gets the win in this fight.

AS!

Posted by Bluetiedown44 on February 13, 2011 at 11:24 PM

Sutton with large shot and sweater jabs while Peckham is waiting to get inside. Peckham lowers his head after 6-8 shots to the face and bulls his way inside Sutton's arms to get a shot off. But Sutton knows what is coming and down they go to the ice. Peckham looks bad here, but I think he was trying to get inside the reach of Sutton. Ouch

Sutton is a monster =)

Posted by Square Up on February 13, 2011 at 11:12 PM

Peckham with a punch to the shoulder then the back...uh ok? Sutton with clean jersey jabs, wish Sutton would've let em fly, he can throw some bombs. Win Sutton slight edge

Posted by GreatMurray on February 14, 2011 at 10:52 AM

Sutton is just too big for Peckham. Sutton wins on jab count alone...NO TAKE DOWNS EVER COUNT!

Posted by McDonald19 on February 14, 2011 at 12:04 AM

Good job by Sutton standing up for his smallest teammate. Looked to land better, I'll give him the win.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on February 14, 2011 at 12:32 AM

Sutton gets the edge for the 37 jabs he landed

Posted by johnnyrock555 on February 15, 2011 at 05:36 PM

Good job by Sutton looking out for Blake.

Posted by AZfromNJ on February 15, 2011 at 01:51 AM

Sutton could be a good fighter given his size......but he's not........but he wins here.

Posted by bucsfan22 on February 16, 2011 at 10:20 PM

Sutton was better than Peckham until the last couple seconds but I still say Sutton won the fight

Posted by Caps44 on February 22, 2011 at 02:38 PM

Sutton initiated the dispute; Peckham responded: Sutton fell down. Jersey jabs may be annoying, but that's not real fighting.

Posted by ItsDmac on February 15, 2011 at 12:16 PM

Sutton had it at the beginning only because he took advantage of his reach.. Peckham knew he had to get close to have a chance and that's exactly what he did.. Took a chance and ended it.. I'll give Peckham the W on this one for getting in there with the take down and getting a couple solid jabs in.

Posted by chad420 on February 14, 2011 at 10:08 AM

draw...barely a 3

Posted by durka on February 13, 2011 at 11:35 PM

another boring draw

Posted by BritishRedWing on February 15, 2011 at 06:04 PM

A draw. Those jersey jabs are weak, and Peckham stylishly turned it around, only to have Sutton do his Parros imitation and land on his ass.

Posted by ParrosFan16 on February 13, 2011 at 11:26 PM

Peckham is obviously not a expert. Win Sutton.
