Call it even, the only highlight of the game for Les Canadiens.

Looked close. Too close to call.

didnt look like much of anything good landed here

Posted by Bruins29 on September 26, 2011 at 09:24 AM

Draw. Henry didn't want to trade punches with Thornton...he just wanted to hug him.

thornton started better and landed 2 solid rights but didnt do much more damage afterwards.henry landed also 2-3 and scored the best punch of the fight.most of them wild swings missed the target but it was entertaining fight.draw (maybe slight edge henry) and gave it 7

disapointing to see thornton not fight like he normaly does

OK scrap, game 2 tonight between these two squads.

Very slight edge to Shawn....once again the referee's thinking the fans came to see them....I can see it if it is a bad miss match but when it is two willing combatants and neither is hurt, let them finish.....but when have the fans had a say in the game they pay for in the last 20 years...

Slight edge Thornton. He was more active and seemed to land better. Henry seemed as he wanted to hold on a bit more in this fight and keep Thornton at a distance. Not all that exciting.

Posted by mudman55 on September 26, 2011 at 08:11 AM

Very tight, but I thought Thornton landed 1 or 2 more....

Posted by bruins rule on September 26, 2011 at 08:44 AM

gave thornton the edge in this fight.

typical montreal fans, never seen a fight they havent won. Henry still can't fight will stay in the minors. Thornton won the fight deal with it.

Posted by ironface on September 26, 2011 at 08:55 AM

Got to give it to Thornton here as he landed a few more shots. And no, I am not a Bruins homer. Will Alex Henry ever make the cut? It seems he has been toiling in the Habs farm system for ever....

GSP09. it shows how you dont know how to read. I've actually played my whole life, i drop the gloves and i do know alot of what im talking about. I wrote canadiEns not canadiAns. Im from south of Boston where they dont teach diving and stageplay at hockey practice, they teach toughness and if you dont have it, you probably dont make the team. Its funny how that 'purist, p*ssy' hockey tends to stay encircled around montreal, guess its been that way for a always was when we had bantam and midget tournaments there years ago anyways. I guess some things never change.

Posted by ChiefJunior on September 26, 2011 at 07:29 AM

I can't see how anyone could say anyone won the fight. They both landed some very good punches.

Posted by GSP09 on September 26, 2011 at 08:40 PM

drpmittens17 . It shows how you know hockey with your comment ,as most hockey players in the NHL are Canadians, including Shawn Thornton who was born in Oshawa , Ont. Canada

The only punches landed were by Henry who earns the slight win.

Slight edge to Henry for more solid connections

Best punches by Henry...Slight edge for Henry

Posted by hockeyrules999 on September 27, 2011 at 12:19 PM

Henry with the win.

Posted by kkdowning on September 26, 2011 at 10:01 AM

Wow, a Canadien actually starting a fight with Bruin instead of just getting pummeled. Draw.

Posted by chad420 on September 27, 2011 at 12:44 PM

decent draw

Close, a couple of good punches landed by both. Draw

Posted by hockeyherman on September 25, 2011 at 10:18 PM

Good tilt Thornton throwing a beat down at the beginning but Henry came back just not enough and Thornton landed a good shot at the end! Slight edge to Thorton!

Posted by Snoka on October 01, 2011 at 10:02 PM

Win Thornton. Henry was doing his best Stortini imitation at the end...Huggy Bear

Posted by BigBadBruins68 on September 25, 2011 at 11:49 PM

Much closer bout this time around, but I give a very slight edge to Thornton based on activity. Seems like he may have landed a bit more.

Posted by Redzilla on September 25, 2011 at 11:19 PM

Henry did much better this time around but the edge goes to Thornton.

Posted by fcm on September 26, 2011 at 02:28 PM

I really wonder what they are adding to Boston's water to make them that stupid. If Henry was wearing the Bruins Jersey, they would vote for him. Stupid homers. This is nothing else but a draw. Your arguments are shitty. "Deal with it". Come on! I deal with a fight where not too much landed and I call this a f*cking draw.
