Draw at best thats it!

Posted by staceyb on November 03, 2011 at 08:50 PM

A motivational pickup for each team, knotted at one goal each after two. Le Grand Shache shaved off his stache.

Posted by rangers16 on November 04, 2011 at 12:35 PM

Clear draw here, Deveaux with a very good showing against one of the leagues best

Posted by koolpunch on November 03, 2011 at 09:32 PM

Solid tilt between heavyweights...but now that I complimented the play by play on the Mayers fights, I guess I should add some balance; First off, while the two of them babbled on, the entire building (including the camera man), knew the fight was about to happen. Oh well, they followed up their surprise with these gems; "Parros hasn't lost many" & "Deveaux better watch out because Parros is dangerous" - yeah, watch out for flying skate blades....(...I kid; I like Parros)

Posted by ronreddog on November 03, 2011 at 08:52 PM

Pretty even bout, Parros looks weird without the facial hair, so used to it

Posted by Don Berry on November 03, 2011 at 08:57 PM

Parros should of won I guess, but def a DRAW here.

Posted by countejacula on November 04, 2011 at 02:35 AM

Parros can still fight w/out a mustache so that's good. Parros landed better punches but Deveaux out-muscled Parros, draw in my opinion.

Posted by DMM on November 03, 2011 at 10:33 PM

I call it a draw. Very close, deent fight. Hats off to Dev taking on a top 5 five fighter.

Posted by Double Nickels on November 07, 2011 at 06:45 AM

Just proves that it is not just size, but professionalism and ability, that separate heavyweights from big guys that fight. Solid, controlled tilt.

Posted by brizs on May 11, 2015 at 11:04 AM

Deveaux won.

Posted by clipper98 on November 03, 2011 at 09:23 PM

Deveaux wins it. Better shots than Parros !

Posted by MaddieLynn on November 04, 2011 at 01:54 AM

"Hey, Parros, how's your wife and my kids?"

Posted by DARCY T on November 04, 2011 at 06:57 PM

kind boring fight, expected better.they were slowly trading rights, punch by punch.but deveaux's rights were missing the target and parros finished it with 2 left uppercuts win parros and 4

Posted by fernben8 on November 04, 2011 at 12:39 AM

Deveaux refusing to make eye contact before the bout... He's obviously a strong dude if you're able to force Parros back like that, Don't know Deveaux too well but I question his punching abilities if he's going to take on this role. His punches lack some snap and he's too telegraphic with it... (just an observation). Win Parros. LOL with Koolpunch , " Flying skate blades "

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 04, 2011 at 12:16 AM

Deveaux gets the green light from the bench, and proceeds to spend the entire fight wrestling, and jockeying for a decent jersey grip... allowing Parros to, leisurely, win on points. I agree with CloweStaubi that Deveaux°s °style°, or lack of it, does seem to open the door to a potential, big time, KO in the near future.

Posted by Spanky_Jazz on November 04, 2011 at 07:58 AM

Gee, I hardly even recognized Parros without his stache. Weird.

Posted by scooter231 on November 04, 2011 at 05:46 AM

Can see Parros is the experienced fighter in this bout.

Posted by hal29 on November 08, 2011 at 02:52 AM

Parros losses the stache and Deveaux losses the fight. Why is Deveaux getting permission from the bench?? Weird.

Posted by pepsigenerate on November 03, 2011 at 10:39 PM

Deveaux trying to take Parros to the boards to hold up his own balance and to keep the fight short so the refs can stop the fight...Parros with the win from his combinations.

Posted by shawn46 on November 04, 2011 at 11:40 AM

Who was that clean shaven, ivy league captain of industry?? Georgie Parros you say? Looks like a real go getter.... and a win.. deveaux plan of using the ox-esque strength and Thor like grip is prone to betray him at some point and that is when he will venture to the land of nod....

Posted by kimo_coyote on November 03, 2011 at 09:21 PM

edge to George, props to Deveaux for keeping it close and a battle of two BIG guys.

Posted by Guilty Dog on November 03, 2011 at 08:53 PM

I liked how the kid got the okay from the Bench before taking on one of the better heavyweights..A little tentative..but who wouldn't be...Edge to Parros..Not real decisive..nice effort by Deveaux...

Posted by ironbar44 on November 03, 2011 at 08:56 PM

PARROS with the edge .MICHOLETTI again lets you know in advance that the ranger will lose .to the fight two big boys .PARROS wins a close one

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 09, 2013 at 02:50 PM

Parros with the win. Wonder if that's what Ron Jeremy would look like if he shaved his moustache.

Posted by slshbleed on November 04, 2011 at 11:22 AM

Parros was able to put on a pretty good show while suffering from a lingering mustache injury.

Posted by Riomouse911 on November 05, 2011 at 12:36 AM

10-9 GP, he looked a bit more in control (For once).

Posted by dpappas1 on November 03, 2011 at 09:32 PM

Deveaux, a lifelong minor leaguer, did not fare too badly against the 2010 - 2011 NHL heavyweight champ. Keep him and get rid of Rupp when returns!

Posted by BooSanta on November 06, 2011 at 09:04 PM

At :34 Andre the not quite Giant lands the best punch of the fight but thats about it. One always wants to wrestle Big Clumsy Shave to the ice. The MCs crack me up saying Big clumsy doesn't lose much. At least Big clumsy didn't lose here. Just so you know, the Stashes have been getting shaved around the league and started growing in Nov for charity apparently.

Posted by bruins34 on November 04, 2011 at 02:51 PM

I give this one to Parros by an edge. I actually think that Devaux is the stronger of the two, but Parros was landing (well, maybe throwing) more. For big guy, though, Parros doesn't really throw that hard.

Posted by rocky 1 on November 16, 2011 at 03:29 PM

Good little scrap with the edge going to George without the stash!

Posted by bruins rule on November 04, 2011 at 07:54 AM

parros gets the win in this fight.

Posted by tyrone on November 03, 2011 at 09:49 PM

The flying Frenchman looks toward the coach and gets the green light. However, he loses the fight to the STASCHE.

Posted by tpr1960 on November 04, 2011 at 05:37 PM

Another Ranger loss , pathetic since Boogie went away. Avery and chuckandduck Rupp and thie douchebag{He will be in the AHL} Deveaux. Rangers suck.

Posted by Iceboss on November 03, 2011 at 10:19 PM

Great fight .I like how Deveaux asked Pops if it was ok to fight . Win Parros.

Posted by GreatMurray on November 04, 2011 at 03:11 PM

Good Scrap from 2 big fellas. If either had landed one of the hay makers they threw it would a have been lights out for the other. Parros with a pretty easy win in the end.

Posted by FightsOfHockey on November 03, 2011 at 08:57 PM

edge goes to parros

Posted by totmacher on November 04, 2011 at 12:08 PM

I gota say I miss the stashe, I liked the view from the Fox Sports West (Prime) feed. Much better and higher quality. To bad no one snagged it to host.

Posted by dropkick25 on November 04, 2011 at 11:07 PM

Give it a draw not much landed on either side...

Posted by Zendave on November 03, 2011 at 11:04 PM

Really nice, endurance, some energy, some emotion.

Posted by Rags4Life on November 04, 2011 at 02:55 PM

Agree with some of the other posters. If Deveaux doesn't stop following through with his body after every punch he throws, he's gonna get his bell rung real good.

Posted by TrueBlue26 on November 03, 2011 at 08:52 PM

Love parros but obviously im a ranger fan first...good showing by deveaux...he is a big boy but still surprised me in this fight cause parros is such a great fighter...good scrap

Posted by chad420 on November 06, 2011 at 09:14 AM

win Ron Jeremy

Posted by tiburon4 on November 04, 2011 at 12:37 AM

A little long, but George Parros has an edge.

Posted by Oil Can Henry on November 03, 2011 at 10:48 PM

...Deveaux started-out okay - then Parros took-over,....all he could do was try and stifle big George after that,.....

Posted by snowave on November 03, 2011 at 11:57 PM

semi close bout, but Parros with the win for a few more solid shots landed.

Posted by kkdowning on November 04, 2011 at 01:52 PM

Ha -- ha -- Deveaux asking for Tort's permission before the fight was priceless, as was his nodding a few times after he got said permission. Magnum with the win -- I wonder if he is still protecting the stitched area as he was not as free swinging (and falling down) as he often is

Posted by wigim72 on November 04, 2011 at 02:58 PM

Pretty decent bout here. Parros with the edge.

Posted by CloweStaubi on November 03, 2011 at 09:34 PM

i feel like deveaux is gonna get knocked out sometime soon...
