I love Erskine...every punch he throws seems to rise up from his soul. Plus he's a balding ginger....Extra points there.
Allday Johnny E...by far,the most under rated fighter in the NHL
Nice homer glasses from the broadcast booth.
Erskine takes the decision.
That was an okay fight....Erkine won but he actually missed on most of his punches. Most of his punches where complete misses or hitting the shoulder pads. Even still, he landed more than Parros did
Erskine throws a series of bombs with nasty intentions and as a result, he effectively manages to keep Parros at bay throughout most of the fight Although in the end despite the onslaught Magnum still didn't seem to be too much the worse for wear
Although Parros protected himself fairly well ... I have to give the Edge to Erkskine on punch count alone ( George hardly threw any ).
Erskine's gotta be one of the most underrated fighters in the league. The dude can throw anvils
Johnny with the win good tilt thou
Erskine rarely loses a fight. He's under-rated and has been for quite some time.
Winner Erskine
Two top heavies but i feel that Erskine gets the better of George here landing some solid shots!
erskine gets the win.
Erskine owns him, the homer announcers seem to miss all the punches we saw.
Big John connects with a few good rights, one especially staggers Parros midway through the bout.
Erskine landed 2 or 3 good ones to one by big George. Erskine with the win.
Win Erskine. He buckles Georgie Boy. Many others would have dropped.
Parros hung on for dear life as he got rocked. A couple nice shots in, but gotta hand it to Erskine.
Erskine with the better shots...kinda close
win erskine...and 7
Seems like Erskine is a bit underestimated around the league; tough customer and gets the win here.
More thrown and landed by Ernskine
Erskine "brung it"
Erskine just threw more punches
Parros isn't much good at anything hockey related. Keeping his job means he has to win fights. This was not his best effort.
Win to Big John. Dig how he throws those haymakers. George is a savvy fighter to be reckoned with, but this night he was back on his heels.
Didn't see that coming, all Erskine there.
Erskine won....
Wow, Parros went looking for that beating. He should have stayed on the bench.
Erskine threw better punches but Parros took him down in the end. Still I give Erskine the win.
Not even close. Erskine wins.
What a guy. Not only has he been able to gain the 2nd def pairing through stable and good defensive play this season, he still takes on big george, and wins. Huge player Eriske is for the Caps... keep'em coming
Erskine
"Those are some haymakers going back and forth." I saw the back, but not the forth, Erskine was the only one throwing bombs. He gets the clear win in my eyes.
Great match-up. Caps are a different team with big John in the lineup. Now if they would just stop playing Schultz every night......
Good scrap by two tuff guys. Erskine is very under rated. I wish they were back in the very soft NHL. Check out Georges clothing line, Violent Gentelman. Good stuff.
Erskine was all there for this one once again. He stumbled twice but it didnt affect the fight. He landed all the big hits and lots of them. Parros fought Erskine in his debut NHL game and a few times since. He is a heavy weight for sure but nothing like Big John Erskine. Washington has missed John the last 3 games, its good to see him back. A good stay at home defense that is starting to step in a little closer on the offense and put some points up.
Erskine Rocks Red! again
Big George with the BIGGEST and FINAL blow
Good tilt, Notice how Parros doesn't hit Erskine when he fell, classy.
good bout, pretty even
Erskine caught Parros with a couple that knocked him off rhythm. Edge to Erskine.
Erskine knew if he stopped throwing he was a dead man.
Big John all the way
Battle of a couple of guys who have a lot of experience in the fighting department. This was pretty much all Erskine from start to finish. Parros wasn't able to connect with much. Erskine landed several quality shots here. Erskine gets the W here.
Parros did well against big John Scott last week but he got hammered in this one by Erskine.
Erskine with the clear win -- they must have talked before the game as they both were ready for it. PS announcers, stop talking about Erskine's suspension -- not like he is Raffi Torres.
A real surprise here. Erskine doesn't normally go with heavyweights. But he dominated Parros (one of the heaviest) and almost knocked him down. Parros never landed a decent punch.
Erskine... he threw with conviction and rocked him with one. George threw like he didn't want to connect
...when did the Panther's acquire Tony Orlando?,....
They were almost 1 for 1 on the punches. I see it as a draw. Parros never lets himself get on bottom. Landing on bottom gets you hurt.
