Boulton pops Orr's lid into the rafters but the retarded helmet rule immediately kicks in forcing the zebras to intervene quickly in order to "moronically" insure that no further entertainment of any kind takes place

Posted by Madhouse27 on November 19, 2013 at 11:36 PM

At the time of the stoppage, Boulton was in the driver's seat and throwing punches. Would have liked to seen whether Orr could have righted the ship or simply taken more punishment. Either would have been dramatically better than the quick jump-in by the refs.

Posted by dustyknuckles on November 20, 2013 at 12:05 AM

ahhhhhh i hate that... boulton got jump on orr who knew it was coming but couldn't get ready in time.. and then orr finally gets balance and linesmen stop it... even being a leafs fan guess i gotta give it to boulton orr didn't get a chance would have liked to see them go and both be set before hand

This announcer is a retard. "This is why fighting should be out of hockey"! These idiots don't realize that fighting is the only reason why hockey isn't one big shit show. Incompetence is my biggest frustration. This wasn't a fight, Orr wasn't able to get going, therefore - DRAW!

Posted by Hilaker on November 19, 2013 at 11:04 PM

Bolton gives Orr a well deserved ass kick. Orr wanted no part of Boulton and hunkered down hoping the linesmen would save his butt.

Posted by King of Goons on November 19, 2013 at 11:52 PM

Refs got booed by the crowd for jumping in early but they probably saved Colton Orr's life in this one. Orr got completely ROCKED by the punch that sent his helmet flying off his head and I wouldn't be surprised if he suffered a concussion after that blow. Refs saw Orr was in big trouble and saved him a severe beating and probably a serious injury. Domination by Boulton. Second time in a row he's destroyed Orr. Props to Boulton for stopping the assault after Orr was basically defenseless. Orr really should stop tangling with Boulton who beats him like a drum with regularity. P.S. Who are the idiot's who voted for Orr here? Ma and Pa Orr, perhaps?

Posted by Stinger7 on November 19, 2013 at 11:06 PM

Colt SnORR took a licking like a dog. Jumped and started swinging before Boulton he knew it was on. Seemed scared and panicked Boulton dusted the ankle skater.

Posted by dcmac on November 20, 2013 at 06:30 PM

Stopped to soon.

Posted by hughcares on November 20, 2013 at 11:38 AM

Orr is just collecting a paycheck this year. With Staubitz picked up last week, Orr could be seeing some time in the minors if this keeps up or trade him to Ottawa - they need a tough guy.

Posted by Droog on November 20, 2013 at 03:42 PM

Refs in way too early. Nothing to see. Draw.

Posted by jnk07899 on November 20, 2013 at 05:27 PM

WHat the fuck was that? Stay the fuck out of the fight until you need to jump in.

Posted by retired2006 on November 20, 2013 at 05:41 PM

Refs a joke here, Orr wanted nothing to do with Boulton, I can see why.

Posted by nhlofficialsblo on February 27, 2014 at 11:38 PM

Another jerk off linesman playing hero. Orr's a big boy and pulled his own sweater back over his head. These jerk off linesman need to check their egos at the door and let the players take care of business. What a loser #91 is. I would've loved to see Orr get his head kicked in.

Posted by Cid on November 20, 2013 at 12:09 AM

Only guy who landed anything was Boulton. Orr should have received a roughing minor at most. Win for Bolton. Kinda by default though.

Posted by shane0mack on November 19, 2013 at 11:17 PM

Well...Boulton threw the ONLY punches before the linesman decided Orr just needed a hug so I'll give him the win.

Posted by The Bud Life on November 19, 2013 at 11:14 PM

All Boulton early, then the idiot officials once again jump in where they're not wanted. W Eric

Posted by 33Oliwa on November 20, 2013 at 12:59 AM

Would have liked to see this unfold, piss off already linesmen.

Posted by Ripper on November 20, 2013 at 10:23 AM

Nothing to see here folks, move along now!

Posted by Nystrom_23 on November 20, 2013 at 11:54 AM

Orr wanted to go, as evidenced by his mugging of the smaller Ness. He knew Boulton would oblige at that point. I'm sure Orr was sorry he started the incident. Nice pop from Bolts.

Posted by Mick7 on November 20, 2013 at 10:04 AM

As Leaf fan I keep hoping Orr's gonna show some game one of these fights, but the nagging suspicion that he's done, for some reason, keeps growing larger. Looked like Orr was ready, but that lasted .5 of a second. All Boulton.

Posted by slavv on November 20, 2013 at 06:24 PM

Boulton wins but Orr would've been able to keep it going had the over-zealous linesman not jumped the gun....

Posted by GreatMurray on November 20, 2013 at 05:51 AM

Orr could not fight...and the linesman were 2 quick to get in. Once he got his Sweater right it would have been game on and Boulton would have been "Tied to the Whipping Post!"

Posted by ironbar44 on November 20, 2013 at 04:16 PM

BOULTON gort the jump .if it lasted not sure he would have kept his edge. wasn't a great fight .what there was of a fight was not a draw

Posted by bigtigga200 on November 20, 2013 at 12:56 AM

That had the potential to be a very good fight. But then the ref stepped in.

Posted by weBoyo on November 20, 2013 at 06:54 AM

Does anyone else see Orr's retirement this season? That 'Peewee' dive to avoid being hit and then the turtle is not going to instill fear in the opposition. He used to make linemates six inches taller but now I think they're wondering if he'll be leaving on a stretcher.

Posted by ADS81 on November 20, 2013 at 06:51 PM

Let'em go

Posted by TOmaplelaughs on November 21, 2013 at 06:30 AM

I swear I saw Orr slip the linesmen 50$ for jumping in early. Better than his family paying 1000$ for his casket!

Posted by DARCY T on November 21, 2013 at 05:38 AM

that was a weiiird fight.what's up whit orr.i've never thought i would see linesmen rushing to rescue him.i know they stepped in becoz of his helmet falling off but he wasnt fighting back anyway...easy win boulton

Posted by tpr1960 on November 23, 2013 at 07:31 AM

Okay, time for Orr to retire, can he spell AHL

Posted by srehm1 on November 23, 2013 at 01:41 PM

Boulton throws and lands the only punches in this fight which appeared to be broken up prematurely by the linesmen.

Posted by rocky 1 on November 20, 2013 at 12:21 AM

I am starting to like Boulton and in this fight kicks Orr,s ass!

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on November 20, 2013 at 12:29 AM

come on refs!

Posted by EK65 on November 20, 2013 at 01:12 AM

No knock on Boulton, he's a true gamer but... Colton Orr much like a vampire used to strike fear into people's heart's.. at this pace we're about 3 fights away from the Colton Orr twilight saga...

Posted by Mark1967 on November 20, 2013 at 04:05 PM

Boulton with the win.

Posted by bigdog2007 on November 19, 2013 at 10:41 PM

Hahahahahahaha. Dribblecup Orreo is done. What a goof. His vagina was clearly showing in this bitchslapping. Cant wait to see the excuses from the twins, Hughie Carebears and Laffs2006. Time to wash that jizzed stained jersey cupcake. Woof!! Woof!!!

Posted by pepsigenerate on November 20, 2013 at 11:33 PM

not much to decide here, linesmen ruined the whole show,it would have been a good tilt if the linesmen hadn't jumped in to make boulton look good after boulton's lame punch ....stupid linesmen

Posted by SHEP74 on November 19, 2013 at 10:29 PM

Orr is embarrassing this year. I think Kessel would give him a good go! The Sheriff looks more like the clerk and needs to get into the groove or pack it in.

Posted by jokersmith on November 20, 2013 at 08:22 AM

What the hell was that? I thought the days of the refs jumping in were over. One of these refs is going to get his clock cleaned one of these days and then, maybe they will think twice about trying to stop these big boys from doing their jobs.

Posted by Rsizzle on November 19, 2013 at 11:01 PM

Nothing to see here folks...Orr couldnt get going and the zebras jumped in way too early

Posted by stephenc on November 22, 2013 at 05:38 PM

Non Event. Too bad. Had potential to be a great battle. Orr losing his helmet doesn't constitute a win for Boulton. Especially after dodging two challenges from Orr in the beginning and during the same shift.

Posted by lgbar75 on November 24, 2013 at 12:51 PM

King of goons: Boulton beats Orr with regularity? 6 prior fights between them with Orr le ading 4-1-1. Get a grip

Posted by Ronnie82 on November 20, 2013 at 04:12 PM

This fight got stopped way to early. Orr's quick turtle was less than impressive. Boulton's got Orr the past two times they've tangled! Come on Orr, what gives???? Looks like he doesn't want to take a punch, maybe he's got an injury we don't know about.

Posted by travist on November 22, 2013 at 01:08 PM

these linemen suck this year. as do these new jerseys...go back to ccms.

Posted by yk420 on November 23, 2013 at 12:45 PM

Anyone who calls it a draw because Orr wasn't ready is an idiot. Orr dropped the mitts first.

Posted by kkdowning on November 21, 2013 at 10:40 AM

Ha. The Toronto crowd booed the linesman for saving Colton Orr. Less than it could have been, but probably a good thing for Mr. Orr.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on November 20, 2013 at 11:51 PM

What happened to Orr? I don't think he has won a fight all year. The linesman jumped in way too early on this one. Boulton may have very well knocked Orr's block completely off had it continued.

Posted by jimmat on November 20, 2013 at 09:40 PM

Boulton with the win in a linesmen shortened bout. Orr gave the "I'm in trouble" wave and they jumped to his aid. I hate to say it, but Orr's looking like he's at the beginning of the slide.

Posted by francoisleroux on November 22, 2013 at 01:40 AM

This one never really gets going, as veteran linesman Don Henderson, seeing Orr's helmet go flying, and fearing his head was in it, jumps in early to save the helpless but not headless Orr. Boulton has to be the most underrated fighter in the league. Never afraid to take one to give one. His battle with Erskine a few years back was epic.

Posted by Blacktop Recess on November 21, 2013 at 07:13 PM

Who are the serious clowns that voted for Orr on this one. This should read 100% Boulton.

Posted by nycbill74 on November 20, 2013 at 08:26 AM

Refs shoulda let this go, all Boulton

Posted by TheodoreRex on November 20, 2013 at 12:21 AM

Orr gets walloped before the ref jumps in and spares him more punishment. I must say I'm suprised. Orr needs to get his shit together fast.

Posted by tyrone on November 19, 2013 at 11:49 PM

Orr is overrated. Lucky for him. the Zebras jumped in.

Posted by djstue on November 20, 2013 at 04:07 PM

Great job by the Canadian refs calling everything Toronto's way.

Posted by shawn Forrest on November 23, 2013 at 09:47 AM

King of Goons, you're ridiculous. Destroyed Orr?? lol. get real, just another cry baby habs fan. This site has become full of leafs haters. Pretty pathetic.

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on November 19, 2013 at 11:48 PM

Cannot declare a winner in a fight that barely started and was abruptly stopped.

Posted by knnite on December 16, 2013 at 05:22 AM

Boulton didn't want it till he could take a run at the sherif!

Posted by Thatsoffside on November 23, 2013 at 05:13 PM

The liner put Orr in a compromised position by jumping in without his partner. Helmet off or not, the zebras can't jump in by themselves. leaves one guy tied up and the other guy free to throw bombs.

Posted by rampart7577 on November 20, 2013 at 12:05 AM

Nothing landed, refs ruin a potential excellent fight. DRAW.

Posted by 20KenPatzack20 on November 20, 2013 at 06:19 PM

Sad to see hockey come to this, when two grown men at there profession, can't even have a good razzle dazzle after a gentlemens dispute. Damn linesmen! Draw because the linesmen ended it before it got going.

Posted by 070132428 on November 24, 2013 at 12:44 PM

The Linesman ended it way to soon, Orr would have came back if there was more time!

Posted by staceyb on November 20, 2013 at 05:38 AM

That was a lot of nothing.

Posted by ErecShun on November 20, 2013 at 09:27 AM

lucky for boulton the refs stopped the fight

Posted by speedy17 on November 19, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Win to Boulton, The refs jumped in before any serious punches and or blind shots.......Both great fighters but have to go with Boulton here

Posted by big_blue on November 19, 2013 at 10:21 PM

Boulton made sure to swat the twat

Posted by TERMINATOR on November 19, 2013 at 10:33 PM

Good on Boulton to stop throwing as he had Orr in a vulnerable position. Boulton with the win.

Posted by boldbilly on November 20, 2013 at 10:26 AM

Colton Orr was recued from a beating plain and simple.........Orr just like Thornton in Boston are finished......they strike fear in nobody's eyes any longer

Posted by Panchosraider on November 20, 2013 at 02:30 PM

I gave this one to Boulton because he was the only one who threw anything but a serious ass kicking this was not if you were led to believe so by Isle fans.

Posted by 066987488 on November 19, 2013 at 10:39 PM

Boulton with the win, though Orr would do better than what he did
