That was like a prison fight where the screws are paid to look the other way. I was waiting for someone to get shanked.

Great job by the Zebras here! They'll probably be fired tomorrow morning. As for the fight, Malone has the early advantage. Clarkson turns the fight in his favor ironically when Malone lets him get up off the ice. Clarkson gets the nod here.

Clarkson drops the visor and almost drops the previously up and coming Malone Maybe it will inspire other latent shields to do the same Best zebra moment all year long

This is the best Clarkson has looked in awhile And it was against a (lately) impressive Malone How bout the refs letting them get back up and go? This will be the last game they ever officiate.. Clarkson you look much better without that visor, sir

CLARKSON one of the worst signings might as well win a scrap he's useless as a player.

Clarkson falls flat on his face, but gets up and manages to still get the W in this weird, merry-go-round affair. Swing your partner round and round, get back up and get the win. Malone looked embarrassed to be involved in this, and ends up getting a dis-interested loss.

Clarkson won this one. Malone was a pussy for wanting the hug-fest. Also, good for Clarkson trying to spark the team.

Win for the overrated big disappointment guy......who plays on the overrated big disappointment team.

clarkson lands more thanks to malone giving him time to get up. good sportsmanship from malone

Amazing...the stripes pass on their usual stop opportunity. Clarkson gets up and wins the fight. He isn't earning his big paycheck but he can't. He's just not that good. He is all heart but he lacks the size and the skill to help this team. He isn't the real problem for Toronto. He still plays hard every shift. Get rid of Kessel and Phaneuf first. Go to Oz and find some players with a heart. Kessel is absolutely awful. I doubt anyone would trade much for him. Phaneuf is close behind. The lack of a competitive effort from these two is killing their team. Toronto needs to dump their whole roster and call up all of the Marlies.

2 Leaf Fights & 2 Leaf Wins? wow... Clarkson started off slow, probably could have gotten the draw or worse if the refs followed their usual counterparts and stepped in at the first sign of anything.Instead the refs let them go and Clarkson battled back to get a pretty decisive victory due to the flurry of punches at the end.

Unusual moment for the refs... agree with Behn Wilson

Hummm Malone wins first part of the fight then lets Clarkson up who then beats Malone up.

Wow Clarkson won a fight.

clarkson with the win

Posted by jerry s on January 20, 2015 at 05:18 AM

it went longer then most fights good job by both but Clarkson edged out a win

Posted by doobi1 on January 20, 2015 at 09:26 AM

Good scrap and the refs let 'em go after they went down initially. Malone , obviously dizzy from spinning around and round, caught the bad end after the dosey doe and Clarkson gets the win. It made me dizzy just watching these guys spinning around while caught in the mighty Oz hurricane.

Pretty good fight. Slight edge Clarkson.

What the heck was that ?? Please Leafs keep David "The Dog" Clarkson up there in Toronto, what a bum.

Posted by DARCY T on January 26, 2015 at 11:37 AM

nice to see malone giving clarkson second shot after kinda embarassing himself.and he wasted it to try to spin malone as much as he could.sigh...edge malone.he already earned it 1st half of it

Posted by caniacnation on January 20, 2015 at 03:12 AM

Give Malone the win for the takedown early on. Props to Clarkson for coming back though. Relatively good fight IMO.

Posted by Humper on January 19, 2015 at 08:28 PM

Win for Clarkson, but I'm still not impressed. This was one fight where I didn't care if the linesmen stopped it, and wouldn't you know - they told them to fight on!

Posted by anthrojim on January 20, 2015 at 02:11 PM

Clarkson lands a few, but the Leafs still suck.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on January 24, 2015 at 01:51 AM

Clarkson ended strongly to earn the victory.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on January 20, 2015 at 01:52 AM

Going showing from Clarkson against a inform Malone, finally the zebra's let them go!!

Posted by unfunny on January 20, 2015 at 10:20 AM

Thank-you linesmen.

Posted by kkdowning on January 21, 2015 at 08:29 AM

Clarkson with a comeback win. Malone lets Clarkson up, perhaps thinking the fight was over (this year the linesman typically stop this sort of thing), and then Clarkson mounts a comeback and takes the win.

What's this I hear the Leaf Won something? Tabernac.. Draw for Malone..

Posted by Amerkfan8 on January 20, 2015 at 08:12 PM

Good fight. Clarkson gets the better of the unproven Malone.

not bad, enjoyable tilt

A draw at BEST… I think Malone is the best Carolina has to offer… Not a big physical team.. Where is Clarkson when Toronto plays the big, tough teams… You will never see him " get his team going" by instigating a fight with any teams tough guy… Clarkson is such a LOSER !!!!

Posted by dcmac on January 19, 2015 at 09:06 PM

Clarkson is never going to be a tough guy. He picks and chooses too much.
