Clarkson wants Prust at the end of a long shift. Spot picking 101 here. Prust holds Clarkson off like the wiley veteran that he is. Draw.

Do people actually watch games anymore? Yes Prust was at the end of a long shift, but so was Clarkson. Clarkson didn't just step on the ice. At least watch the whole clip provided here. Clarkson was on the ice already when Holzer hits Prust early in the shift. Clarkson is still on the ice when Prust goes after Holzer a bit and finally both Clarkson and Prust meet up when they were both going to the their benches for a change. Yes Prust was more tired than Clarkson. Yes Clarkson knew this and was picking his spot a little here but don't exaggerate it. Clarkson didn't just jump on the ice when Prust was trying to get off. Fight = Draw

Clarkson is a useless POS. I hope Prust breaks his face the next time they play. I love ironbar44's comment, as well. Take no prisoner's, Dude.

AGAIN, Clarkson, the punk that he is, would NEVER go with Prust one on one at the beginning of a shift.. Toronto fans, you have to be embarrassed by a 5.5 million dollar LOSER like this… This is a draw as you will never see Clarkson go with Prust straight up.. EMBARRASSING !!!!

Posted by Ozzieboy on February 15, 2015 at 07:55 PM

montreal equals POS Out in 1st round LOL habs fans are so delusional its idiotic

classless CLARKSON...................

Posted by tpr1960 on February 15, 2015 at 08:39 AM

Two stiffs, Prust please never drop your mittens again, and go to the AHL. He should join ex-teammate Parros at the concuss clinic.

Posted by boldbilly on February 14, 2015 at 09:32 PM

As everyone has said classless spot picker Clarkson tries to start something after realizing he has Prust at the end of a very long shift .....feeling brave as he steps off the bench.....two more games against one another I'm sure Prust will remember this and the dirty hit on Gonchar.....this fight was a non fight and a draw

Posted by pepsigenerate on February 14, 2015 at 08:40 PM

nothing to mark here for these two Ontario boys. Prust would have dummied clarkson.

Posted by mudman55 on February 16, 2015 at 09:18 AM

Christ, David....save it for the next shift. Give the man a chance to breathe.

Posted by ironbar44 on February 14, 2015 at 07:53 PM

classless CLARKSON in the twilight of a mediocre career. That contract TORONTO gave him kind of sums up 50 years of crap. the only team that might be worse is the RANGERS 1 cup in 75 years.

Posted by Great Murray on February 16, 2015 at 09:04 AM

Let see...Clarkson can't score, He can't play defense and he can't fight...and at 4.5 million a year he can't be traded...good luck finding something to do with this hump Shanny. Clarkson knew Prust was gassed...he wanted something soft. If they come off the bench together Clarkson gets his azz kicked. Toronto is having to let their good young players go...I see some expensive buyouts in their future. 1 for a bad draw.

Posted by whaleoil on February 14, 2015 at 08:46 PM

Prust........completely.........gassed......... looked like a spot pick by Clarkson. Maybe they'll tangle at the beginning of a shift later in the game? nothing to see here.

Posted by Stone55555 on February 14, 2015 at 07:42 PM

Fight ... What fight????? two tired guys holding on to each other catching their breath:)))

Posted by doobi1 on February 15, 2015 at 02:06 AM

After reading the comments about Prust being out on the ice for a long shift, I guess it's safe to say, that Clark's son, can't do shit, and has no business starting shit. Prust showed that he is the real deal, by tying up, a fresh of the bench, no good, lousy, rotten SOB, and had he thrown just one, would've gotten the win. However, DRAW. The real loser is Clark's son here. No business ding what he attempted to do, and, well--er, FAILED..

Real weak.... Maybe next time.

Posted by jerry s on February 16, 2015 at 06:23 AM

not a lot of anything going on looked like both were tired before it started

Posted by DARCY T on February 16, 2015 at 06:30 AM

prust was coming to his bench visibly dead tired and clarkson kept challinging him to the point when prust obliged to drop his gloves.puss move by clarkson.they both were catching their breathes first half of the fight without throwing punches...draw

Posted by MeatPlow on February 14, 2015 at 10:11 PM

Draw and nothing.

Posted by EK65 on February 15, 2015 at 03:01 AM

Not too much happening here. Guy(s) at the end of a long shift hang onto each other while Clarkson throws the only attempts of the fight. The winner would probably be Prust but, on merit I voted draw. 2 rating.

Posted by Titzmgee on February 14, 2015 at 08:02 PM

Prust was completely gassed. Hopefully he'll catch up with him later.

Posted by gpilon on February 14, 2015 at 08:36 PM

Kelly Clarkson knows how to pick her fights. Guess, better than eating popcorn in the Press box.

How embarrassing for Clarkson to go after Prust when Clarkson is fresh and Prust is winded after a very good shift. Time for Clarkson to ride the pines!

Posted by traveller on February 15, 2015 at 09:34 AM

Lost what little respect for Clarkson, he knew what he was doing and took on a player who was at end of shift. Prust would normally take him or any other player. Sad that it has come to this, but he is finished.

Posted by nait on February 14, 2015 at 07:44 PM

can we get a rematch and this time with anger

Posted by Amerkfan8 on February 14, 2015 at 11:03 PM

So I guess they don't like each other? Guess it makes sense in that context. Clarkson looked to be throwing more verbal jabs than physical ones, but I still give him the decision here. Prust didn't throw a single punch.

Posted by JCobra67 on February 14, 2015 at 08:29 PM

Voted for Prust just based on the pos move by Clarkson.

Posted by lupien on February 14, 2015 at 11:41 PM

Both guys were out of breath and tired before the fight began.

Posted by gsrae on February 15, 2015 at 07:49 AM

Clarkson goes after Prust late in his shift. Prust is gassed and holds on. A zero fight. Clarkson should have known not to go with an opponent after their long shift. Draw.

Posted by Leafs2006 on February 16, 2015 at 01:10 PM

Clarkson, with the chickens**t fight of the year, classless clown, 5 million a year, goes after a guy thats as tired as FatDog is fighting for that last hotdog at sobey's......You embarrass hockey fans Clarkson, get lost and take your 5 million with you

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 19, 2015 at 12:58 AM

No fight, but Clarckson is a chode!

Posted by Humper on February 14, 2015 at 08:01 PM

Sucky move by Clarkson, but not surprising. Dead-on-arrival draw.

Posted by kkdowning on February 16, 2015 at 10:19 AM

Really nothing to say about this draw -- for some reason (I won't attribute bad motivations to Clarkson, but one reasonably could) Clarkson persistently challenged Prust who had no interest.

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 16, 2015 at 04:32 AM

Clarkson beats on a gassed Prust who responds with a slow version of his "patentedly" lame spin cycle routine in order to avoid any damage As I often say... Not exactly a "feel good" victory

Posted by SidKid87 on February 18, 2015 at 08:30 PM

CLARKSON - EASILY Yet "le brigade de viseur" will have you believe this was a draw; bc that is how they see it. If pRUST was gassed; and it's a mighty BIG "IF" then he had no business accepting the challenge. A rather cowardly performance in the art of hanging on...

Posted by kari takko on February 17, 2015 at 12:38 AM

Wow. What a dick.

Posted by mr. puttzo on February 15, 2015 at 10:49 AM

And you think Edwards is a homer. The truth is spinner Prust is a classless washed up cheap shot tomato can.

Posted by bramiam@aol.com on February 14, 2015 at 10:32 PM

How can a professional hockey player be that exhausted from skating a 60 second shift. All the months of training, special diets, suppliments, playing with hacky sacks... and he looked like he'd just finished a marathon. Stupid looking fight.

Posted by grocerystick on February 14, 2015 at 07:52 PM

Haha did Clarkson really just beat up Prust...?
