Doan piles on and jumps on top, not a real fight. BTW I get that some folks don't like Perry. That is what makes him effective. He scores and throws others off their game. He no more ran the goalie than what happens 10 times in every game. It's called going to the net. Boo Fin Hoo. Get over it. As for the fight, Doan gets the take down after jumping in late. Draw.

there has been unusual big amount of fights where 2 captains fight each other this season.i love it ! getzlaf is a bigger guy than 9 years older doan but getzlaf picked a wrong guy.he probably realized that when he just tried to hang on and hug it out.doan didnt land anything but he was throwing him around like a sack of potatoes...edge doan i realized that doan will be 39 this year when i checked his fightcard...wow.i wouldnt guess it

Slight edge to Doan in a pretty lame fight. My guess is Getz being not too interested was more do to him having something to save for the playoffs, like a hand. Doan doesn't have to be concerned about that.. That being said, Doan is a tough SOB though, so I give it to him for going after Getz. p.s. Perry did everything he could to avoid the diving coyote.

Damn that had potential. Doan looked pissed after Getz shoved him and knocked him on his ass, but the fight (or lack there of) was pretty lame. Looked like Getzlaf kind of laid down. Giving it to Doan for trying.

Getzlaf did the right thing...he took Doan down with him to the ice before Doan puts a pounding on him. Doan clips him twice and gets the win in a 4 fight.

Corey Perry starts all the BS running the goalie. Doan gets after Getzlaf pretty good here and tosses him to the ice. Doan takes this battle of Captains.

Best overall altercation of the night all things said from the scrum all the way through. No, it's not a great fight, but the whole incident blows away all the other fights of the night. Just an old school scrum and separation. Win Doan.

Getzlaf is a tool. Love Shane Doan. Wish he had beat Getzlaf's ass but never really got going. Wish he was on the Bruins. He has more heart than most of our players. Wish he fought more.

Mike Smith may have an Olympic career ahead of him...in diving. Even the German judges would give him hight points.

Obvious draw, I'm not sure a single punch actually landed (except maybe Getz rag dolling Doan at the start. This isn't MMA, you don't get points for a "takedown". If anything it's negative points because you're prematurely ending the fight (Doan). After starting with an advantage Doan knew that Getz was eventually going to get the upper hand and it would get ugly.

C'mon... how can anyone give this to Doan? He's the 4th man in. 2 Coyotes have Getzlaf tied up when Doan jumps in. He gets the easy jersey grab and momentum from the start. Then the tussle and roll around on the ice. Draw. In what did not start as a fair fight at all.

Doan is a puss. Pissed that he got knocked on his @ss by a light little shove. Stone already had a hold of Getzy if not Doan would've been punished. An inferior Coyotes team starts gooning it up because they have nothing else to play for. Everyone on here whining about how they hate Getzlaf when he is the best player in hockey and still retains an old school hockey style and ethics.
