How do you pick the winner of a noogie fight?

Posted by Knuckles McGhee on March 13, 2016 at 12:28 AM

Umm, Forsberg, you made a mistake. Lesson learned.

I think I saw harder punches thrown between John Scott and Patrick Kane at the all star game

credit to Forsberg for jumping in but Virtanen got more slaps in

a fight between 2 youngsters.forsberg's 1st nhl fight and virtanen lost to bobby farnham earlier this season in his 1st nhl fight forsberg wanted to talk to virtanen after his hit on ribeiro close to the boards and they dropped the gloves.funny how forsberg held virtanen by his visor early.he also landed a couple punches but virtanen managed to turn it around virtaen in a short fight

Once Virtanen realized Forsberg was actually throwing punches the fight ended quickly. Good thing the linesmen got in there quick as I think Virts would have hurt Filip.

Geez...I'm getting old...70 yesterday...playing hockey in an hour...but those two looked like they were about 14. They both had sheepish smiles as if to say that was had to be more fun for Virtanen when he got his mini-jackhammer working. He landed a bunch of softies and wins this one.

Forsberg tries to stick up for his fallen teammate. Unfortunately for him Virtanen has had a bit more experience than he has chucking the fists. All Virtanen (even if the shots werent that powerful) oh to be a teenager again.

Virtanen... Happy belated birthday GM...

The refs saved Forsbergs life... Forsberg plays dirty, can't fight,, really can't fight lol..

Virtanen throws pretty good for a teenager, Filip not so much. Forsberg obviously is not a fighter. Give him credit for stepping in although it did not seem necessary. The hit was not cheap or dangerous. Win in a no doubter for Virtanen.

Forsberg seeks retribution and receives a beating instead. Easy win for Virtanen.

Virtanen with the dominant win.

Posted by tpr1960 on March 13, 2016 at 08:24 AM

Oh no, do you pick a winner of a slap fight ??? Horrible, Alexander Semin flashbacks...................... we have been reduced to a Finn and a Swede slap fighting, I would rather watch that squirrel commercial than this crap.....

1, draw. Some of you people need to look up "dominate" in the old OED.

Boarding ???? Where ????

Another classic example of retribution gone terribly wrong. Good for Forsberg to get involved even though the hit was not that bad. Virtanen smoked him.

Mr. Rare Fighter takes on Mr. Never Fighter, and dominates. Yet does absolutely no damage whatsoever. The NHL in the mid-second decade of the new millennium - the beginning of the end.

Ha, that was kind of cute. Virtanen clearly knew more about fighting then did Forsberg

Posted by stoopid760 on March 14, 2016 at 02:13 PM

those rabbit punches hurt as much as rabbit punches

Posted by sedinfan on March 13, 2016 at 12:53 AM

My Canucks win a rare fight, but i can't say i am all that proud, as i am pretty sure Forsberg will never be a heavyweight. Virtanen didn't mind fighting once in a while for the WHL Hitmen, and i am guessing Forsberg may have never been in a fight before.
