Rocky 1-a late hit? really? In my day they said keep your head up. An absolutely clean hits draws the most penalties I have ever seen for the fewest punches landed. Wilson is a tool but a game misconduct is ridiculous. Some roughing calls and a reminder to Hall to pay more attention would have been more appropriate.

Bramiam.... really??? Referring to a very dirty and cheap shot play by Thornton. Thornton is a tool! Orpik is a dirty player and I said so when he was with the Pens, but he is also a very good and strong checker. That was a VERY clean hit and Palmieri tries to jump Orpik while Orpik was down on the ice. Neither one threw a punch so I give it a 1 and a draw

It was a good hit, but I have no trouble with Palmieri deciding to do something about it. Once he decided, however, he should have actually DONE something about it.

Taylor Hall doing his best linesman impression in this lack of a fight. Nice hit by Orpik though. What did Tom Wilson do?

Nice open ice hit! Too much interference in that fight so I'm going with a Draw.

great to see hall get rocked like this.good response by palmieri though going after much bigger orpik giving up 5 inches and about 30lbs.linesmen were in their way immediatelly so i have to call it draw i didnt realize last time orpik fought was in 10/11.maybe i thought that being dropped by thornton counted for something haha

Great open ice hit with a nothing fight

Orpik is lucky Shawn Thornton wasn't around to bounce his head off the ice again

Not sure what we watched here except for a defenseman doing what a defenseman is supposed to do. Clean hit. Everyone lives to play tomorrow. Why is it in the DNA of modern day players to feel it necessary to jump someone for hitting a teammate? Contact sport. You should take up marbles if you don't like contact rocky 1 playing the part of Captain Lou Albano here.....

Getting tired of the obligatory fight after a good, clean hit.

That..........wasnotafight. If this was www.hockeyhits.com that would be a 10, domination. Please add "0 - Not a Fight" to the dropdown.

Why the heck was everyone else getting involved? They should know better, that's how dudes get suckered. Stupid, let them fight if they want to fight.

Great hit. Need a scrum cam to figure out what if anything happened after.

Clean Stick Breaking Hit. Fight loses 2 rating points simply because it was in retaliation for a cleat hit. Loses another point for the alleged 3rd man/Game-Misconduct on Wilson. It's a roughing call if it's not on #43 Fun fact: If you wear #44 on a Washington DC sports team, John Riggins takes possession of your soul sometimes. Don't let him drink too much, Brooks. It never ends well.

There were fighting majors for that?? Great hit by Orpik I know it was clean.. But i like Palmieri standing up for the star Er, trying to. Nice to see Orpik trying to answer the bell, too He did drop the gloves Which he rarely does Love the Devils unis, too Beauts

Great hit! No fight.

I bet Wilson didn't think Hooks' gloves where capable of coming off. . . The typical turtler ends up costing the Caps three game misconducts and embassmemt by throwing a punch when someone is fighting for him Damn I hope Hooks ends up in Vegas or anywhere else next year

Typical late hit by a dirty player in Orpik ! No real fight here! New Jersey needs to make room for Gazdic and then this shit won,t happen .That or Orpik gets a beat down! Protect your star players is what I say!
