Win McQuaid and douchebag Edwards is still the worst announcer in hockey.

Posted by JCobra67 on April 01, 2018 at 08:42 PM

Only Jack Edwards could make me want to vote this a draw.

Posted by Rooster286 on March 31, 2018 at 11:14 PM

McQuaid beat him harder than I beat my dick the first time I watched Mrs. Doubtfire.

Posted by boldbilly on April 02, 2018 at 02:53 AM

So I tried something different here....I read all of the comments first and then went and watched the video.....this wasn't the massacre that's being described here....McQuaid does win and for me this was a score of 6 and not more...Haley rocks McQuaid at the beginning ....funny nobody mentions that...a few other notes... 1) Anyone remember when McQuaid was visor less ....I do he seems to throw now with reckless abandon now that he wears one...when you hit like him and wear a visor..... Well let's just say huge it or not this has a huge play in this fight...for the record he doesn't have to wear one he chooses to now for some reason... 2) Haley doesn't wear a visor 3) Jack Edwards is the most sickening person to listen to...if you shut your eyes and listen only to his call....then reopen them will be shocked because you will see Haley in the penalty still alive and not that worse for the wear....he isn't dead he just lost a hockey fight to a very big hard punching VISOR wearing guy.... Win McQuaid....with a score of 6.... Lol

*Yawn * Keep it in your pants Bruins commentator.

Posted by Humper on March 31, 2018 at 05:54 PM

McQuaid won, but this is not the massacre some of you imply. One or two punches landed where they were intended but the rest were well off the mark.

Posted by lbachand on March 31, 2018 at 06:26 PM

Fight was dominated by McQuaid, plain and simple!

Posted by hipchecker20 on March 31, 2018 at 03:04 PM

Once again don't mess wth the Darth Vader.

Posted by devilsadvocate on April 02, 2018 at 02:40 AM

McQaid dominated, as he should given the size and reach advantage. I still take issue with McQaid wearing the visor, given his reputation as a fighter.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 31, 2018 at 11:35 PM

McQuaid outlands Haley to pick up the win. Jack Edwards was getting all lathered up! Haha!

Posted by pmarz1 on April 02, 2018 at 04:08 PM

@boldbilly, if you knew anything about what you were talking about, you'd know why he now wears a visor. He pretty much beat the crap out of everyone he fought without the visor as he does now with it. As for Jack Edwards, I give up, I have no defense for the nonsense that comes out of his mouth. It's one thing to be a bit of a homer announcer, every team has one, but he clearly has lost the plot and to think it even got worse when Acciari and Weegar got into it...

Posted by Attikdrum on April 03, 2018 at 08:31 AM

I have to say something, McQuaid is a big dude and even Haley does not care about it.. thumbs up to Haley for showing and ask McQuaid to dance but this guy is a beast.. no doubt. McQuaid with the win, 5/10 When Edwards will retire?

Posted by tacomania on March 31, 2018 at 05:11 PM

hey little guy you cant just walk into the heavyweight division , stay in the light weight , nice try though

Posted by gsrae on April 02, 2018 at 11:30 PM

Haley started out strong then McQuaid open up a can of whup ass. McQuaid with the win

Posted by jlmcgui on April 01, 2018 at 09:16 AM

Haley looking to change the game up; took a good beating from McQuaid. Good tilt, win for Quaider. Even "Bruins in 2" cut out the Acciari fight ... why??? would loved to have seen Huberdeau & Marchand go, what's with that ... give Marchy the tap, and then turtle?

Posted by rocky 1 on April 01, 2018 at 08:15 PM

Haley may be the number one fighter in the League if you count the number of fights but not if your talking about being the toughest.Obviously he is not one of the elites getting pummeled here by McQuaid. He got beaten soundly by Lucic earlier this year as well.N.H.L. teams have been told not to have heavyweight fighters but then what the hell is Haley?Oh Ok a Light Leavy Weight Goon!

Posted by sionnan on April 14, 2018 at 07:49 AM

If Haley is the top fighter in the NHL its a f-ing sad testament to how weak the NHL has become may as well hire figure skaters

Posted by rpmoranjr on March 31, 2018 at 09:05 PM

When you knock on that door you have to confront what comes through - Haley started out alright until he pissed McQuaid off and got beat down. Lucky he didn't choose Miller.

Posted by moneybags on March 31, 2018 at 07:47 PM

Haley picked the wrong guy Mcleod tried 3 times fighting him, with no success...Quader is one tough hombre

Posted by oldtimebsfan on April 02, 2018 at 11:21 AM

Adam is a tuff dude, and he shows it here with a decisive beat-down of Haley. Haley will likely challenge him again .. and he'll lose again. McQuaid isn't afraid of stepping into the pocket and is darn accurate.

Posted by str8up on April 03, 2018 at 05:27 AM

Haley taps and McQuaid obliges. McQuaid wears the visor due to a previous eye injury. Good tilt, nod to McQuaid.

Posted by BruinManiac on March 31, 2018 at 06:06 PM

To quote the GREAT Jack Edwards, “The Bruins are beating them and beating them up!!!” McQuaid crushed Haley.

Posted by EK65 on April 03, 2018 at 12:49 PM

I actually don't mind the passion from Jack here. It's a heavyweight tilt and a good fight. McQuaid proves why he's one of the top dogs in the NHL and Haley shows that he will literally fight anybody if it means he stays in the NHL. Overall great fight & 6. Jack if you're reading this unblock me on twitter.

Posted by billybarty on March 31, 2018 at 07:14 PM

Fights like the old NHL used to have.

Posted by AxlRose91 on April 01, 2018 at 09:37 PM

I’d like to see Jack Edwards take some punches to the face. That guy makes Rick Jeannerette look unbiased

Posted by Double Nickels on April 01, 2018 at 03:17 PM

Boston fans coming out early to vote before the video goes up...

Posted by ankkamies on September 27, 2018 at 01:51 PM

Winner Haley and reason Edwards

Posted by surfmaster69 on April 03, 2018 at 02:30 AM

Not as good as you guys rated it. A 4 and an edge to the much bigger McQuaid. Only 2 punches connected solidly. Nowhere near the fight with Witkowski and Seeler. This is what you have become accustomed to now. Props to Nicknines as he nails it on the head.

Posted by mo_town on April 02, 2018 at 01:39 PM

Would like to see McQuaid take off his helmet. With his size & power he should not have to hide behind his visor. Sure glad I don't have to listen to Jack Edwards. Only time I watch Boston is when they have a NBC game and I can listen to good announcers

Posted by nicknines on April 02, 2018 at 01:18 AM

For real rate this fight a 7 for real, this is a joke and jack off Edwards is a bigger joke come on i know these fights today are terrible but rate it like it is over a 7 and over a 6 for the last fight there not even 5's at best come on just because the nhl sucks doesn't mean our voting should too

Posted by Dammit-Man on March 31, 2018 at 07:31 PM

Haley saw Comets, not Stars... Total Beatdown

Posted by nait on April 01, 2018 at 02:14 PM

Haley got a few in early then McQuaid took over and dominated.

Posted by nitemare40 on April 01, 2018 at 12:50 AM

McQuaid is one of the best fighters in the game. There's pat on bottom after his bouts, there's nothing staged. He fights with anger & fights with a legit purpose.

Posted by EelDog on March 31, 2018 at 04:54 PM

McQuaid obliged Haley’s request and McQuaid proceeded to pound him into to ice. Good throwback-style fight.

Posted by MilburyKOMyKid on April 01, 2018 at 11:53 PM

McQuaid is very religious. He will beat the devil out of you.

Posted by RV_camper on April 05, 2018 at 04:40 PM

Glad to see the punk Haley get pummeled. Typical shift he gets....skate on the ice for a stupid staged fight.

Posted by SylvanLaker on April 01, 2018 at 11:46 PM

Thanks Adam.........LOVED IT

Posted by defusious on April 02, 2018 at 02:17 PM

Great bout. This is the kind of fight where you respect both guys a little more afterwards. Two heavyweights, and though the bigger McQuaid takes the win unanimously, Haley holds his own and lands some good blows.

Posted by MCParker1962 on April 01, 2018 at 09:32 AM

Anyone dumb enough to drop with McQuaid needs to see this first and rethink what he's doing. A jack hammer would have hurt less. Anyone who said Haley won that fight is a homer of epic proportions.

Posted by hockeyrules999 on April 06, 2018 at 11:39 PM

Again, Jack Edwards doing WWE. Who likes listening to this? Bruins fans. No other NHL team wants a homer describing their games. What a freak show!

Posted by Mounty in NC on April 03, 2018 at 10:18 PM

McQuaid wins the fight but a 7 rating???? Cmon Bruins fans wake up for once will ya. McQuaid and a 5

Posted by slambo on April 08, 2018 at 09:01 AM

that cocksucker is the worst "sportscaster" in the history of sports.... I would gladly pitch in to a collection to pay him off to retire, or one to have him whacked. I have no preference, as long as he is gone from hockey... btw someone said McQuaid is a "top dog" puuuuhhhhlleeeeezze. That pussy wears a visor voluntarily. And he must be scottish, cause he is too much of a bitch to possibly be Irish. He barely won this one because he is half a foot taller than Haley, and he had his malibu barbie visor on...

Posted by jonahbuxton on April 02, 2018 at 07:22 PM

McQuaid in 6

Posted by PantherPete on April 01, 2018 at 10:10 PM

Obvious Panthers fan here. We're toast (as usual) when it comes to the playoffs. I love McQuaid and obviously he wins this one. Nonetheless, kudos to Haley for trying anything to rally the troops, even if it means taking on one of the baddest in today's NHL. On a side note, can we make it a mandatory rule that if you upload any Bruins fight the video has to be from any source other than NESN? I'll even take Punjabi over Super-Homer Jack-Ass Edwards. He makes Rick Jeanerrette sound like Switzerland.

Posted by Jaxon on April 01, 2018 at 09:52 AM

W - #54; 6.5; any questions?

Posted by runningwithnjd on April 01, 2018 at 06:12 PM

Good fight. Nice to see somebody take Haley down.

Posted by TimJRutherford on March 31, 2018 at 08:10 PM

One of top 2 toughest guys in the league if not the toughest. Haley probably learned a lot there with the beating he got. FLA should re-evaluate as to what areas that they want to lead the NHL....

Posted by rinkrat38 on April 04, 2018 at 09:41 AM

Once Quaider gets going, watch out!

Posted by hubofhockey on April 02, 2018 at 08:11 AM

Obvious win for McQuaid, as for the haters here complaining about the visor ...he almost lost his eye last year so now he wears it. Haley knows full well that McQuaid wears it and HE asked for the fight so too bad...

Posted by terrystanjohn on April 01, 2018 at 07:59 PM

Win McQuaid... tough dude

Posted by rogie30 on April 01, 2018 at 05:26 PM

McQuaid is a very tough hombre. Can go with Anyone

Posted by squish81 on April 04, 2018 at 09:38 AM

I enjoyed every moment of McQuaid pounding this little pest with a big mouth. McQuaid has a big right hand and Haley never really even threw any of his lefts. Haley needs to remember who to pick a fight with!

Posted by Jellyczar on April 01, 2018 at 12:46 AM

McQuaid with some quick and spot on shots .... Haley fights a lot, but ain't that tough.

Posted by Skipmeok on April 04, 2018 at 10:04 PM

boldbilly, you must have watched Mrs. Doubtfire many times!!! McQuaid wears a visor because of a stick infraction to his eye a few years ago.... Go back to movies.

Posted by puckstopper30 on April 01, 2018 at 11:27 AM

Nice up tempo fight for today’s NHL. Nice job by Haley, but McQuaid just overmatches him.

Posted by budsfan4 on April 01, 2018 at 07:34 PM

Mcquaid with the clear win

Posted by VEXED on April 01, 2018 at 07:57 AM

Good scrap, think maybe Oswegofightfan may want to get the bifocals check, or learn to count passed 2!

Posted by Imarabhata on April 01, 2018 at 05:10 PM

How bout Edwards calling Haley dropping the gloves ahead of time.

Posted by BritishBruin on April 15, 2018 at 08:18 AM

Hayley never took a backward step but McQuaid just way to good for him in this one

Posted by bruins34 on April 02, 2018 at 04:01 PM

McQuaid with the clear win here. Haley is game and lands a couple at the beginning, but all that seemed to do is wake 54 up. @Boldbilly--yes, the visor is further proof of the evil Bruins darkness and clearly why he allegedly throws with more abandoned these days, right? OR..OR..OR.....what modern hellions appear on his fight card? Who are these heavyweights he fears so much to fight with a visor? Take a closer look. His overall fight totals are down too. No Orr, No Boulton, no Brashear, no MacGratton, not even a Gazdic in the big league lineup. How many guys with more than 5 fighting majors would give you pause for thought if you were McQuaid?

Posted by KCChieffan on April 01, 2018 at 09:26 AM

Darth McQuaider is the toughest in the NHL. It is suicide for anyone to challenge him.

Posted by BennyD on April 02, 2018 at 10:50 AM

Haley with a solid left, and McQ with a solid right. If you listen to Jack Edwards you would think you were watching Mike Tyson and Micheal Spinks. 6 and a draw.

Posted by PrivateDynamo on April 01, 2018 at 02:37 AM

McQuaid made the top fighting minute guy in the league look like a homeless man without a pot to piss in.

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on March 31, 2018 at 03:24 PM

Hats off to Haley and his league leading (by a lot) 22nd fight of the year. Haley has routinely looked for the toughest guy on the ice and although his fights this year have rarely rated above a 5 (I don’t think that’s his fault), he’s willing to make it as ugly as his opponent is. McQuaid with the W in a decent and quick exchange.

Posted by Abner Kravitz on March 31, 2018 at 03:31 PM

When Haley went looking for someone to fight to spark his team, he should have made a better choice.

Posted by FightJudge46 on March 31, 2018 at 03:55 PM

Total beatdown by McQuaid. Even Jack Edwards couldn't over hype the call on this one.

Posted by Jack Meoff on March 31, 2018 at 04:05 PM

Now that the ''real tough'' guys are gone, the ''kind of tough'' look tougher than they really are.

Posted by GreatMurray on April 01, 2018 at 10:15 AM

This was a good fight...the only thing wrong with it was Jack Edwards. Haley is not the number one fighter in the NHL...ridiculous. He is a midget and is fighting a big tough guy. McQuaid handles him pretty easily but does eat one solid punch for his trouble. Also McQuaid has been beaten and easily. Engelland got him as did John Scott, Mark Fraser, Fraser McLaren, Tanner Glass and others. Any chance they could send Edwards to Providence. Most of the time I can avoid listening to the moron...but not always. EDWARDS IS AWFUL!!!

Posted by jawhockey on March 31, 2018 at 03:45 PM

holy Sh*t McQuaid demolished Haley!!!!! Haley should pick on the little guys like he alway does to win the fight.

Posted by Jez-x on March 31, 2018 at 05:37 PM

LOL Haley should have tried Pastrnak instead.(see last Bruins game) McQuaid all the way.

Posted by MOPAR MUSCLE on March 31, 2018 at 04:53 PM

McQuaid answered the call and messed him up proper!

Posted by 113438 on March 31, 2018 at 05:47 PM

Haley clearly bit off more than he could chew. If Haley was sent out there to change the complexion of the game, he failed miserably. I gave the first 5 seconds of the fight to Haley. The rest was all McQuaid. Adam looked like he was hitting Haley with a sledgehammer. I don't know how he was still standing. No contest!

Posted by Durango 95 on March 31, 2018 at 04:56 PM

The most amazing thing about this fight is that Haley managed to stand up the whole time...

Posted by Oswegofightfan on March 31, 2018 at 10:07 PM

I see either a bunch of Bruins fans voted. Or a bunch of people who never watched a fight heard the Jack. He sure made it sound like more then 2 punches landed from each guy. Draw and a 5
