The Stars are offside, the whistle is blown and these two drop the gloves and square off. Each player gets in a righty stance and Barnaby discards his elbow pads. They grab on and get in-tight, Thornton throwing a couple of shots to the back of Barnaby's head. Thornton throws a couple of rights and Barnaby a left while they wrestle around. Thornton goes to the left, gets off a couple of shots and then switches back to the right while Barnaby just tries to hold him off. Thornton then gets rid of his right elbow pad, gets his right arm out from under his jersey, and tosses about 3-4 rights over the top. They wrestle and Thornton throws another right and then an uppercut before throwing Barnaby up against the boards. Barnaby ducks under another Thornton right and tries to switch positions, but Thornton gets him pressed up against the boards again. Barnaby shakes his head to tell the linesmen to stay out of it and tries to get off a couple of lefts, but Thornton starts in with the rights again, and after a couple they're pressed up against the boards again and the linesmen come in.
Even if I voted Barnaby he would still get close to Thorton.
A nice fight by Thornton, but all Barnaby was trying to do was hold him off. I think he could've spared a few more shots to the head if he wouldn't of waved the refs off.
Thonrton was clearly active plus landing clearly more. Barnaby didn't throw many, really. A longer, good bout here. S.Thornton with CLEAR win.
barnaby usually fights good but that was one of his worst. throws barnaby did good but he wasn't on top of this scrap
i respect what he does but barnaby is a douche.
nice one........nice duck by Barns or they'd still be mopping his brains off the ice
Barnaby never felt any of those shots. Clearly he was the winner :-)
