Belak outclassed Janssen all the way in this bout. Belak went right after Janssen and took it to him. He deserves all the credit. Jansenn's "finish strong" act after dancing and waving off the refs is getting tired.

Posted by BelakWilKilYou on March 21, 2007 at 12:53 PM

Belak went to town early, though Janssen's style saved him from taking any big shots. Only after Janssen started throwing did anything really land. Belak landed three shortly after that, Janssen landed a few, especially later in the fight. The last true shots were one from Janssen that the crowd "OOH"'ed at, but Belak responded right away with a cross that caught Janssen, which was the last real punch thrown in the fight. I think Belak edges it out for throwing more, hitting more, and even when he was struggling at the end, still managing to land a few. Janssen did good and was not beaten senseless by any means, but god his fighting style is boring.

Posted by goats14 on March 21, 2007 at 09:28 AM

Decision Belak. When I saw it live I thought Belak went to a knee on his own but after seeing it a second time I think Janssen forced him down. Decent scrap.

Belak layed a thumping on "Meat-Head"... Made Kaberle proud in the dressing room! Well done Wade! Too bad you weren't dressed in Jersey that fatefull March 2nd game...

Posted by The Maileman on March 21, 2007 at 07:55 AM

not even close. And Cam's Barney impersonation is OLD already.

Posted by nytroll on March 21, 2007 at 02:02 AM

Belak easily had the upper hand this fight. The whole "let me try and stay out of reach till he exhausts himself" style of fighting is fairly dull IMHO. As for Janssen, I give him full credit for dropping his gloves with some of the real heavyweights, but drop the gloves and fight, don’t skate around and hope the guy falls asleep before you throw a punch.

Posted by Kyleh17 on March 21, 2007 at 12:55 PM

Okay, who ever says Janssen did well is off his meds. Punches thrown may have been close but punches landed were like what 15-1 in Belaks favor. The only sportsdesk you could watch and they would say Janssen landed some shots is probably one out of New Jersey. Watch the video most of Janssens shots are missing and the hook in his forearm is hitting Belak which is not a punch landed. Belak lands some hooks and jabs the shit out of Janssens chin.

Posted by manninm on March 21, 2007 at 08:35 AM

One of the better fights of the season by Belak. Kids got a lot of heart (and not a lot of talent, but that's ok in the NHL, which is what I love about hockey). Gotta give credit to Janssen too. After the Kaberle incident, you knew something was gonna happen. He faced the facts, took on one of the bigger guys in the league, and took his lumps. The classy way to exorcise your demons, in my opinion. Belak wins the fight, but can't really say a bad thing about either guy in this situation.

Posted by chris_mcallister on March 21, 2007 at 07:10 AM

I think the fight was real close, but even though I really want to give the win to Belak, I just think that Jannsen was better, especially towards the end of the fight. Jannsen lands 5 or 6 over the course of 15-20 seconds that are real clean punches.

Posted by hazard5 on March 21, 2007 at 03:56 PM

one of the best fights of the year IMO. Belak clearly landed more, none slowed down Janssen, wheres the few that Cam threw connected hard and slowed Belak. those who are bellyaching about Janssen seem to think that this incredible fight could have happened without him. we all agree it was a great fight - and thats because of BOTH OF THE PATICIPANTS.

Posted by cheapshot80 on March 21, 2007 at 04:51 PM

I am not a leafs nor a devils fan and this fight was ok not more, there have been many better fights this year I can't beleive people going crazy over it. Belak had the edge early and janssen had the edge late. Size difference should have made a bigger difference in this fight but i think janssen is a better fighter than belak, if they were the same size belak would of got killed. Where was big mouth tucker hiding, he's pretty good at going after guys smaller than him athough janssen isn't that much bigger.

Posted by aces50 on March 21, 2007 at 09:59 AM

Where's the o2? great fight

Posted by FyrKyllr on March 21, 2007 at 11:38 AM

Belak had him off the bat but wasn't landing much except to his shoulder pads. Once Janssen got him in close, Belak was looking for an out and was obviously tired. Belak had the beggining and Janssen the end.

Posted by connelly on March 23, 2007 at 09:19 AM

very nice fight 2 tuff guys

Posted by radioactiverich on March 24, 2007 at 06:00 PM

Lots of punches thrown, barely any landed...belak threw close to 30 land maybe maybe way he get the decision he never hit him. Punches landed=points punches thrown=nothing.

Posted by JBTodd61 on March 21, 2007 at 08:13 AM

One of the best I've seen lately. Belak did what he had to, and so did Janssen.

Posted by donkinbuck on March 21, 2007 at 09:35 AM

hats off to Belak,i guess he won the fight but used alot of energy swinging wildly and was lucky enuff to stay on his feet till the end,he better learn to throw some lefts if the righs don`t connect or he`ll be in trouble with other heavy weights!!

Posted by lakingsfan19 on March 21, 2007 at 01:30 PM

The announcer said it best janssen is waiting and he always does... edge to belak!!!

Posted by Plateworker on March 21, 2007 at 05:49 PM

Belak with an easy win over maybe I will throw a pucnh sometime this decade

Posted by Steeles11 on March 21, 2007 at 03:48 PM

A decent effort from Belak he threw way more punches then he usually does but Janssen is a way better fighter. still give the w to Belak for more punches landed. Janssen is one of the better fighters in the league and Belak is a horrible fighter but is huge so good scrap

Posted by arrows80 on March 21, 2007 at 06:33 PM

Cammie is a joke. A flat out joke. By the way, this was hardly a "great fight." How many quality shots landed?

Posted by perezj on March 21, 2007 at 07:56 AM

Belak, won! What ever happened when two guys would go toe to toe and actually fought. This is crazy, all they do now and is hang on, keep their faces out of arms length and go araound in circles. I wish I could see this squirt Janssen fight someone like Behn Wilson or Bob Nystrom in their prime...

Posted by kengel12 on March 22, 2007 at 12:07 PM

good fight, janssens shots did not seem to have much on them, I give the edge to Belak

Posted by Steve_Stallion on March 21, 2007 at 12:50 PM

Being a leafs fan, I was excited to see this one, and from what I had heard, thought I was about to see a classic. Not the case. Alot of ducking and was only a long fight because of that. A few good blows, but nothing great...still would have loved to have been there...the crowd sounded pumped!!

dissapointed in janssen should have done better against belak who can only fight guys smaller than him because he cant fight the likes of laraque or mcgratton

Posted by chl37 on March 21, 2007 at 07:56 AM

janssen made it close at the end.

Posted by Jack Schitt on March 21, 2007 at 09:19 AM

Belak landed better shots... Hardly "payback" by any means. Would've rather seen Janssen/Tucker II. Props to Janssen for hanging in, but edge to Belak.

Posted by DarkCanuk on March 21, 2007 at 12:29 PM

As much as I hate Belaks fighting style, its always good to see a creep like Jansen get feed......But i woulda rather seen Tucker step up and tune that greaseball. P.S Ur all talk C.Adam.27....It would take 4 of you juts to rip a picture of me..It just shows that any fuckin dumass can be a hero on this site...

Posted by mattmangler on March 21, 2007 at 11:04 AM

Good fight from Cam giving away 5 inches.

Posted by chuckel on March 21, 2007 at 11:39 AM

Janssen is a clown just as Barnaby is a clown. The beginning of the self promoting era in hockey ala Rodman, Owens ect ect...... No No dont jump in Id like to spin around in circles a few more minutes as I keep well out of harms way.

Posted by wallysy1 on March 21, 2007 at 11:26 PM

No doubt Belak won the first 2 minutes of this 3 minute fight. The last minute--Jannsen gets slight edge--but its not as though Belak didnt also get in some at the end. So on that basis--you have to give the whole fight to Belak. Certainly if I had to guess who was huring more at the end--it would be Jannsen.

Posted by jprior23 on March 21, 2007 at 08:59 PM

Belak for sure, he controll and set the pace of the fight, Janssen came on a bit towards the end but Belak closed with a good shot and won hands down.

Posted by lefty20 on March 22, 2007 at 04:23 PM

Im tired of Cam Jansen.Hes a useless peice of crap who cant fight.

Posted by brad houghton on March 21, 2007 at 07:57 AM

Posted by chadec1216 on March 21, 2007 at 09:04 PM

atta boy belak, loved to see this much anticipated fight, both got some decent shots in but mroe effective by belak, win belak!

Posted by predators1998 on March 21, 2007 at 10:19 AM

A proper end to a mess. Belak calls him out, Jannsen answers like a man. Close fight, but I give the edge to Wade. Janssen needs to get the crap kicked out of him one day while he is waiting for his opponent to tire out. That tactic has gotten old. But still cudos for answering the call.

Posted by kenweber5000 on March 21, 2007 at 01:48 PM

janseen's a complete loser

Posted by barefoot on March 21, 2007 at 10:40 PM

Janssen one of the all time meatheads in the league. Too bad Wade didn't knock him cold just like Colton Orr tonight w/T. Fedoruk. I'd love to bring back Probert and teach Janssen a lesson.

Posted by ckm3028 on March 21, 2007 at 06:18 PM

Belak took care of business and did the Leafs proud! I'm tired of hearing how Janssen is a "great finisher." He's a great finisher because he doesn't throw any punches and therefore never gets tired. Took quite a few shots, though. Needs to change his style.

Posted by UnderdogDMG on March 21, 2007 at 11:51 PM

LMAO that announcer cracks me up. Belak manned up and carried the fight the whole way. Jannsen got nailed in the mug three straight early on and his elbow par was the last thing on his mind. right on the button. Great job Belak

Posted by hamish on March 21, 2007 at 04:34 PM

Janssen made it close near the end, but I still give the edge to Belak. Belak probably landed about 8 out of 100 punches whereas Janssen landed about 5 out of 10.

Posted by HUSTLIN_101 on March 21, 2007 at 11:16 AM

Honestly i cannot believe some of the posts on here. How the f*ck can u say that Jannsen even deserved a draw??? Come on now, what fight were u watching. Jannsen is a straight up punk and took a beating. To all you fools that think Jannsen got the decision u need to get your head checked, maybe your vision too...or better yet stop being a stupid American!!!!!!

Posted by leefs67 on March 22, 2007 at 12:34 AM

close but you gotta give it to beeler for the opening 40 seconds. both guys showed good toughness...pussy fight? i don't think so! its a freaking long want to keep a job, to be an animal without losing your mind....ask Todd Fedoruk! i doubt if he plays another nhl game. Janssen is head is a cement block and he's nuts...beeler did a great job!

Posted by Fighting Wombats on March 21, 2007 at 04:43 PM

Janssen- for ending the fight with a few good punches. If this went 1 more minute, Belak would be spittin' chickletts.

midocore fight-----

Posted by goon365 on March 21, 2007 at 10:05 AM

Nice fair square off at the beginning. Belak takes beginning of fight, Cam takes second half and still had fuel in the tank while Belak already had "puppy dog" eyes towards the linesmen to stop the fight......Draw. No blood - no winner. P.S. Tucker is still a bitch - all talk.

Posted by larry playfair on March 21, 2007 at 01:27 PM

Belak threw a ton early on - landed a few, but Janssen came back late and probably landed more quality punches. The bout went long - both guys showed some guts. Janssen deserved a worse fate after needlessly boarding Kaberle.

Posted by johnnywaddxxx on March 21, 2007 at 08:07 PM

belak early janssen late call it a draw.

Posted by sedras on March 21, 2007 at 06:47 PM

ok fight. I don't know if i saw a punch land. Do those guys fight with their eyes closed? it was one of those new era defensive fights without any actual punches landing.

Great fight

Posted by Jxmarts on April 04, 2007 at 05:34 PM

Nice long fight. Janssen mostly kept away from Belak's reach for the first half of the fight. Belak tired in the second half, and Janssen became the aggressor gaining the upper hand as the linesmen stepped in.

Posted by ETR on March 22, 2007 at 09:33 PM

That may have been the longest fight I have ever seen. Kudos to the linesmen for letting them go. I don't like Janssen, but I give him the nod based on endurance and slipping Belak's punches while landing some decent ones. Disappointed in Belak, thought he would land some better ones.

Posted by Bigsnapple7 on March 21, 2007 at 11:40 AM

very close belak in the beginning janssen finishing but neither landed a lot of punches but it was a great fight

Posted by Clark75 on March 21, 2007 at 09:42 AM

Belak for sure. He connected with at least 4 or 5 bombs, maybe to the side of the head/face, but he still connected. Janssen only had about 2 or 3 that grazed Belak. The best was Belaks last shot that made him lose his balance and collapse. Way to go Belak. I didn't think this fight would happen due to the playoff race being so close. Got the boys pumped though.

Posted by archtalon on March 22, 2007 at 01:29 PM

How much weight did each lose during this fight? Don't know how the rest of the game went - did either have any energy for the rest of the game?

Posted by es6115 on March 21, 2007 at 03:52 AM

Give it to Belak for landing more, and for actually trying. But I doubt Janssens feels like he "got taught a lesson" from this one.

Posted by Joep on March 21, 2007 at 10:17 AM

Cam had it coming to him

Posted by LightningGurl58 on March 21, 2007 at 05:31 PM

Wade Belak beat Cam Janssen in tis bout for sure. He threw more, landed more, and he outlasted Janssen. Not the best fight I've seen but not the worst either.

Posted by OilrsSuk on March 21, 2007 at 06:25 PM

Belak was wasting a lot of energy throwing punches that weren't even landing, but he did get a few good one's in. He was tiring out at the end when Janssen was just getting going. It's a good thing it ended when it did or else Belak would of been in a heap of trouble.

Posted by jjowen on March 21, 2007 at 07:35 AM

Belak landed more while Janssen got a few good ones in. I give a slight edge to Belak for the early domination while Janssen never really evened the score.

Posted by anthonyrussell8 on March 21, 2007 at 06:17 PM

edge Belak and well done to him for taking the stand

Posted by bronx1981 on March 21, 2007 at 06:20 PM

Good scrap. I wish Janssen would have gotten knocked out, or jumped. But the nhl wont let it happen anymore.

Posted by jbart321 on March 26, 2007 at 07:09 PM

Janssen sure is a wuss. He likes to dance around and spin like a bitch. Belak landed many more shots. Even Janssens "strong" finish was weak. He got a good beating for a cheap shot.

Posted by Dijo on October 14, 2007 at 12:26 AM

It was close, but win for Belak. Both guys were pumped for this fight. Give credit to Janssen for answering the bell after the cheap hit on Kaberle in the last game.

Posted by mnwesty on March 21, 2007 at 09:49 AM

good fight, Janssen looks to be scared at first, maybe he knew he had to take a little bit first, but he did land a couple hits at the end. Is that his MO, to let the other guy tire out first, then try and go at him? If it is, he will get KO'd by a big guy. Good to see Janssen stand up for himself, this is what Hockey is all about!

Posted by Fireball_IV on March 21, 2007 at 03:52 PM

some quality shots by both players but I think Belak landed more off the start while Jansen was trying to remember how to fight.

Posted by DCLoki on March 21, 2007 at 10:24 AM

Domination for Belak

Posted by dyard88 on March 21, 2007 at 08:21 PM

Wade Landed some good body shots to start and then connected a couple of nice face shots. Cam came to the fight too late In my opinion as even he was exhausted before he threw a punch and mustered a couple zingers off Belak's Bucket. decision Belak comeon if janssen had landed even one good punch I sure didn't see it and ive seen this fight a good many times!!

Posted by Blues58 on March 21, 2007 at 06:45 PM

Give this one to Belak . Janssen hung in there and got some shots in at the end but so did Belak. Belak was way busier and connected more often.

Posted by Cricks_21 on March 21, 2007 at 11:37 AM

Guaranteed this one is on Don Cherry's next Rock 'Em Sock 'Em DVD Great fight and as the commentator said, Janssen knew it was coming and that in a way he deserved whatever he got. Would've liked to see Belak piss pound him a bit better than he did but a guy Janssen's size and strength you cant string him out and pump him.

Posted by scraps on March 21, 2007 at 08:32 AM

Pretty good bout, Belak landed majority of punches..definitely threw more. Janssen landed most of his near the end when belak was tired out. Nice to see Janssen answer the bell, he knew it was coming!

Posted by ehwhylio29 on March 21, 2007 at 04:24 PM

Belak's a big boy & took the win in this bout. As much as i feel Janssen should die for what he did to kabby, he took his lumps like a man. He is an absolute monster & deserves credit for going as long as he did the way he took shots to the head, they may not have been square on but a punch to the head is a punch to the head. Both fighterss got a well deserved standing O. Francis Bouillon should take note of both belak & janssen NOT wearing a visor during a fight. Very entertained & thank-god janssen didn't turn his back on the fighter like peters does. for sure one of the best this year to watch!

Marathon bout of the season. This fight met all expectations. Belak with the edge in a close fight. you have to give credit to Janssen though, he backed up his actions when called upon.

Posted by meye0022 on March 21, 2007 at 07:54 PM

Good fight, those announcers stink though

Posted by KORPI24 on March 21, 2007 at 08:47 AM

One of the better fights of the year, even though Cam did his damn figure skating in circles for the first minute. Obviously Belak won the first 3/4 of the fight and Cam won the end, overall Belak gets the win. Neither landed any real haymakers, which like many other people wrote, is because of this damn circle jerk that seems to be happening in many fights this year. Either way, I am a wings fan and it's nice to see their are still "heavyweights" playing in the league. I thought they were outlawed in 2003.

Posted by mikebflorida on March 21, 2007 at 11:29 AM

Nice to see Janssen get pummled. A very disturbing trend is these guys who want to fight all defensive like Janssen, Peters, etc. It is, in my opinion a cowardly way to fight, using the helmet and pads to deflect punches. As usual, I am sure some dipstick voted Janssen the win. You are wrong.

Posted by ashoka on March 21, 2007 at 03:47 AM

Belak's longer arms won this fight...

Posted by nitro on March 21, 2007 at 06:16 PM

it was a great fight. Janssen deserved it for that bad hit on Kaberle. And what does he get? 3 games. And Kaberle is out for 8 games and counting. But i guess it's okay. I mean Janssen never plays so it doesnt matter if he's on the bench watching the game or at home on the couch watching the game.

Posted by dewolfe13 on March 23, 2007 at 02:33 AM

boy belak...janssen clings on looking for the KO, waits for belak to get tired and then lands a few punches, still, belak gets the win...respect for both of the boys

Old time hockey at it's best. There is nothing more noble than seeking retribution for your teammate and credit to Janssen for standing up for his deed. This is how the game is policed, something that non-Canadians can't understand.........great scrap by two of the games warriors and good job by the officials letting it go!

Posted by tropxe33 on March 21, 2007 at 07:35 AM

Too bad they both kept their helmets on, or it would have been a much better fight. Janssen proved that he can take a lot of punches.

Janssen lost period! Yes, Belak landed to the helmet alot, but still scored to the face more than Janssen. Anyone who thinks otherwise is blind. No , I'm not a Leafs fan, and for the guy who said look at Tucker's reaction, he's obviously "whistling" in approval. Both fighters were more honest in annalizing the fight in post-game interviews than those of you who are in denial! Sportsnet counted 16 hits by Belak, before Janssen connected once. Janssen by no means mirrors Stan Jonathan. By saving his energy until the end, all he did was effectively show he was the superior punching bag! That being said, you've got to repect the class shown by both teams after the tilt.

Posted by Dirtbag Howie on March 22, 2007 at 10:55 AM

Ugghh!! I'm so sick of hearing about how Belak "Pummelled Janssen! You call throwing a bunch of punches that grazed the side of the helmet a pummelling!! Granted he (Belak) did get in some good body shots, it is far from a pummelling!! Where was 'ol "Threats" Tucker..NOWHERE! He shot his mouth off the last time they played and the coward didn't back them up! You can sit there and criticise Janssen's fight style but he stayed in there with a guy a lot bigger than him and still managed to land a few good ones in the end. And who wound up on the ice after it was over? BELAK!! Like him or not, Janssen's a tough guy that won't back down from anyone!

Posted by jerzona21 on March 21, 2007 at 01:53 PM

I've seen Belak do a lot better. Throws a lot of air shots. Janssen's game plan seems simple. Let the other guy punch himself out.

Posted by bney7 on March 21, 2007 at 12:15 PM

If landing punches to the shoulder pads and the air were how this was scored belak would have ran away with it. . . . . sadly it is not. Both landed a few good shots, but I gotta give the nod to janssen.

One of the better fights I have seen all year. Janssen waited until Belak gassed before he started to throw.

Very close fight. I give the nod to Janssen due to stamina. Belak tired and was throwing pillows at the end. Decent scrap though and the refs should be commended for staying back and letting the fight run its course.

belak got great hits in the beginning bc he had a good hold on janssen. however, belak falls to his knees and is not getting up towards the end..winner= janssen

Belak takes the victory. Janssen didnt appear to try to hard until the end.....I think he was just letting belak tire himself out...and that happend but I still think that belak won it.

First half to Belak, eventhough no punches landed. Second half to Janssen. His stamina took over and Belak couldn't hang along anymore. Pretty good bout. Draw, with slight edge to Janssen.

At the Beggining, Belak threw a Few Punches, after that it was all Janssen. Look at the Size difference and Janssen still beat him!!!

some one please tell me how the Fuck!! belak has the voted winner in this fight!!! every single pethetic punch he landed was to helmet or to body wich is fuckin stupid in a hockey fight, all the punches that cam landed were to FACE!!!. you femals are stupid and would not stant a chance against me.

I'll give the fight to Belak (and I'm a Devils fan), but I'll also give it up for Chico and Doc, not taking the "homer" stance while the fight was going on. Everyone knew it was coming, Janssen, Belak, hell even my 11 year old did. And Janssen took it like a man. Still don't like what he did to Kaberle, but it's done. Just wish the Devils would have won, because the Pens are looking strong!

Great Tilt - Being a Big Cam Janssen Fan and also a Leafs Fan I Have been waiting for this for weeks. Favor to Belak because he landed more thank Cam did. Belak threw a few good body shots in there as well. Great Fight Thats the way to Step up Cam and Respect the CODE!

Janssen shades it for me. Belak took a knee at the end

Posted by ibanezdude on March 21, 2007 at 11:20 AM

Great fight, they were both dog tired at the end. I give the slight edge to Janssen because Belak didn't land much in the beginning and Cam got in a few good punches near the end.

Janssen is the Man Leafs fans o god

Posted by laus3 on March 21, 2007 at 01:58 AM

I gave Janssen the edge because regardless of giving up size and weight, he didn't back down and out endured Belak on a very long and great fight!!!!

Of course Belak at the beginning, he had a better grip on Cam's sweater. There's a reason Cam doesn't want the refs to come in, so he can land some of his own. If you're going to compare Janssen to Barnaby, you're as big a clown as Belak. Belak has what, 4 inches on Janssen, and that was a beating. I guess that Belak had to go down to both knees at the end because of the ass whipping he laid on Janssen, RIGHT. No wonder that guy wasn't in the game when Kaberle/twinkle toes got hurt. That guy has been scratched more than someones rashy balls. What was the camera on Tucker for? What the F*** was he gonna do. All hail Domi, Belak, Tucker, etc. If that's an ass-whipping, and at the end the other guy giving it is at his knees, I guess I'll take one any time.

only a leaf fan would dare say Belak won that fight, unless puches to the sholderpads count more than those to the face

Posted by canucks rule on March 21, 2007 at 11:56 AM

Good, kick the hell out of each other there both asswipes, sick of the leafs this ,the leafs that , the team should be overhauled. O ya and speaking of big asswipes TUCKER sure looked tough on the beach ,this guy would need 3 promotions to idiot.

Posted by Monan on March 21, 2007 at 01:13 AM

To be fair, they both were tired at the end and they should be. They gave it a good tilt. Good for them!

I'm not sure what fight a lot of you folks were watching, must be a lot of Toronto homers, because CJ clearly took this fight. Belak never landed a punch, albeit he came out looking strong, throwing a lot of nothing shots into the shoulder pads of CJ. CJ wore down Belak and really took it to him at the end of the fight, as Belak was looking for the refs to jump in and end it. What part of that uppercut that caught Belak on the chin did you not see, not to mention the five or six good shots that CJ tagged Belak with at the end of the fight...CJ wins this fight, and yes goon365, Tucker is still and always will be a Bitch!!!

Posted by The DZA on March 21, 2007 at 12:49 AM

Jannssen never broke a sweat?!?!? you obviously didnt see him in the penalty box with his jersey off pouring water all over his head and panting like a dog in heat know what your talking about before you open your mouth

Posted by mr putzoo on March 21, 2007 at 10:50 AM

No contest "iron man" Cam let Belak punch himself out while not landing any effective punches in the first 30 seconds and then had Belak hanging on the rest of the fight while landing some good shots. Belak's lucky the refs ended the fight or he would of got knocked the puck out. Hey,don't take my word for it-take a look at the expression on Darcy Tuckers face after the fight.

Posted by bman1368 on March 21, 2007 at 02:35 AM

Cam did great considering he was marked and Belak had 3-5 inches and 30 lbs on him. Sadly for the Leafs it was a poor excuse for 'payback'.

Posted by Mack Seaton on March 21, 2007 at 12:40 AM

Even the most die-hard Leafs fan CANNOT believe that Belak won that fight. Janssen looked like he didn't even break a sweat. Then again never under-estimate the ability of a Leafs fan to see the world the way it ain't...

Posted by Big_bitch on March 21, 2007 at 01:08 AM

Great scrap. Obviously Belak was the winner, no question.
