Roy was active in this short fight. Peters waited his change to the end. He ended up well. If Roy would have land better punches, it was a narrow win to him. A draw in a weak fight.

Draw...pretty even fight, as they each got a couple shots in. Looked like Peters was trying to use the stiff-arm lock out with the intention of throwing that one big knockout punch over the top...didn't happen!!

Absolutely no punches landed just some jabs by Roy and then he falls down and I usually don't call draws but this really was a draw. I wish it had been a real fight because Peters and Roy are two known for good bouts.

guys i am not a Roy fan and like Peters but the fact anyone could call this a draw or win Peters is shocking......i thought i must have missed something so i went back and counted Roy threw 4 rights and might have landed 1 he threw 12 lefts and landed 8 one that knocked my man Peters helmet off!! Peters threw 2 rights and neither one landed...so even in the fantacy world of "only rights count even if they don't land".. Since I watched the fight live, I can simply say that you are dead wrong. Which fight were you watching? The one where O'Brien runs over the referee? Did you mistake those 2 for Peters and Roy? It wasn't a great fight by any stretch but Peters didn't even hit Roy cleanly at all. Andre jersey jabbed the crap out of Peter's and hit him with one decent shot. Done. Roy in a landslide. Peter's has this annoying fight style where he stiff arms the opponent and waits for an opening which, in this case, never came. Roy is a smart guy and has been beaten by Peter's before. he clearly has learned from previous fights that Peter's fights like a scared boxer and while that might be a higher percentage way of fighting, it sure isn't glamorous and obviously from this tilt, it doesn't always work.

Peters really sucks at fighting. The only solid punch he had was when Roy fell.

Roy was much more active landing jersey jab after jersey jab, Peters was looking for the straight KO punch, I have to give this to Roy being much more active, and landing the only punches, whether they were jabs or not.

ANDRE ROY seems to be doing a little better this year (so far anyway). It's nice to see. ANDREW PETERS didn't look so good, but the fight was over a lot quicker than he thought it would. He was waiting to throw and land a few bombs and then ROY slipped and went down. I think PETERS would have won this one if ROY could have stayed on his skates. The left jabs look so weak. I only like to see them if they are a set up for a right bomb. Either way, PETERS did nothing so ROY for the win.

Peters seemed to be waiting for the "caught you by surprise knock out blow." Trouble with that is that he was gettin' his pummeled while he was waiting. Roy flat out drops this this procrastinator.

I love how all these people say "jersey jabs don't win a fight" and yet I am willing to bet they have never been hit by one. A jab is a jab anywhere in fighting. It is not a heavy punch; however on the judges score card in any ligament fighting like boxing or the UFC, a jab can win fights. Not every fight is going to have a knockout.
