It looked like Roy landed two more then Brash wrestled him down. No real effective punches for either so its more a draw than anything. I don't see how more people voted Brash the winner, if you were to vote a winner in this it should be for Roy.

Could of been a great scrap but turned into a bit of a yawner. Draw.

Posted by wildfan4eva on November 17, 2007 at 02:02 PM

weak !! Brash is just like laraque !! if they cant get that first one two punch ...they start hugging and go straight to the wrestling takedown !! Boring stuff

Clear draw.

Couple if rabbit punches by each. Neither doing any real damage. Draw in an uneventful fight

Draw Those picking a winner out of this fight are obviously biased or know zippo about hockey.

draw, no real blows connected

Roy showed much better than I thought he might. They both landed shots especially Roy early. Full marks to Andre but since I am a hugh Brash fan I call it a draw.

Not a bad fight Roy did a pretty good job holding his own with Brashear

Posted by slav on November 17, 2007 at 07:19 AM

Typical Brashear at his wrestling best! Roy lands a few so Brashear holds on for life. Brashear does get off some punches but he ALWAYS reverts to his wrestling/tackling tactics. What a loser....

Big boys throwing bombs!

I watched this game and thought that Roy won the fight by a slim margin, and after watching it again after the fact, I still think Roy gets the nod. Brashear threw two or three shots which did nothing, and as Roy let loose at the end he got bear hugged and pulled down because Brashear didn't want to fight anymore. Roy threw way more punches in this fight, not that any did damage, but at least he tried to make a fight of it. Brashear isn't taking up a roster spot because of his skating or scoring touch, so I think it's time he started doing the only thing he's capable of on the ice, or the Cap's should bring up someone else who can and will.

Give it to Roy. Pretty hard to fight against a clown who wants to hug.

Posted by dcmac on November 17, 2007 at 12:57 PM

Roy early Brashear late. Not a thriller.

Posted by bostondangler on November 19, 2007 at 01:20 PM

Good thing Brashear can take a punch. The first one Roy landed was right on the button and would have knocked a lot of people out.

Posted by Sukoshi84 on November 17, 2007 at 04:18 AM

roy started strong and nailed brash right between the eyes then brash lands bout 4 lefts to the side of roys head then they tumble like 2 fat chick fightin over the last tastycake, a typical roy n brash fight ...... solid draw

Posted by penguinsfan123 on November 17, 2007 at 01:09 PM

brash blows

Posted by scorp1on on November 18, 2007 at 11:30 AM

Started out ok , then became a little too huggy to be a great fight. But Brashear took control a few seconds getting Roy's lid off with Roy thereafter just ducking away from Brash. That and powering Roy down to the ice gives Brash a win, but nothing to write home about.

Posted by Juha82 on November 18, 2007 at 01:09 PM

Brashear was stronger of the two. He did have land better punches here. Roy's late punches does come of the grab. Edge Brashear.

It started off as FIGHT OF THE YEAR, but ended as the SCRAP OF CRAP!!!!

Posted by Wolf_eyes on November 19, 2007 at 01:36 AM

I hate Brashear. He's a punk and not nearly as tough as everyone thinks he is. WTG Roy. Still, it was clearly a draw.

Average fight

Posted by Philly_fighters on November 17, 2007 at 10:26 AM

You got to love Brashear. Wish he was still with the Flyers! Great heavyweight fight, give credit to Roy for standing toe to toe.

Posted by brannonkevinm on November 26, 2007 at 09:34 PM

Roy never did anything but hang on and try (unsuccessfully) not to get hit

Posted by djaye on November 20, 2007 at 10:57 PM

Diecent scrap.

Posted by vrodack on November 18, 2007 at 01:21 AM

Brash Sucks

Posted by droppthegloves on November 17, 2007 at 08:54 PM

regular old fight

Posted by headcharge on November 19, 2007 at 02:25 PM

Slight edge to Brash. BStreetBullies has the take on it.

Posted by mikeyboylc on November 17, 2007 at 06:21 AM

Pretty good fight. It's always good when Brash drops the gloves.

Posted by sarge5050 on November 21, 2007 at 01:55 AM

Good fight, win Brashear

Posted by Sublimezx on November 19, 2007 at 12:39 PM

Slight edge to Brash. He got some good ones

Posted by mushroom on November 17, 2007 at 08:13 PM

wonder if after they fell down did Roy ask Brash .... " Nice job Donnie, I think we fooled them again".... sad stuff. Better start learning why there's fighting in hockey then keeping the ratings going for some Dip S#@t in Tampa

Posted by sniperlanoza on November 17, 2007 at 11:46 AM

Good trade. Brash gets the edge for the take down and I think he landed one or two more.

Posted by QUIGGS22 on November 17, 2007 at 01:15 PM

Brash by a hair !

Posted by BStreetBullies on November 18, 2007 at 07:40 PM

I give Brashear the decision here, Roy threw a lot of punches here, but didn't seem to land a single one. Brash landed 2 or 3 to the back of Roy's helmetless head at the end. Edge Brash.

Posted by squish81 on November 21, 2007 at 04:54 PM

Roy a fighter? He SUCKED as a Pens "enforcer" but he did hold up against Brashear and had the nuts to stay in there. He will get killed against most of the heavyweights if they go toe to toe instead of grab and dance.

Posted by blbjd on November 17, 2007 at 10:32 AM

brash sucks, really if he can't sucker punch or fight someone small he wrestles with the guy. complete loser.
