I am a Wild fan but i still give O'Brien the edge in this one. As for people crying about his visor, shut the hell up! O'Brien was the one who wanted the fight, he had no part in the events leading up to it. I think his "slashing" penalty was given instead of an instigator or third man in penalty. Reitz is just a young guy trying to make a name for himself, if O'Brien wants a fight go after Boog.

This feed of the fight isnt as good as the FSN feed, so you miss alot of what happens. Reitz has a bad cross check, then Pyatt takes a poke and has words with him, they skates backwards? Nice O'Brien steps in and sheds the gloves, and gets the win. Dont understnad why Pyatt goes Matt Cooke on the deal, but it was funny. Also, FYI micah555, he didnt get a 3rd man penalty.

I just have 1 question here... Why didnt O'Brien get a 3rd man in penalty here? Just askin... I would like a little clarification on the rule... I do think that O'Brien won this fight. Reitz pretty much just tried his best to not get his ass kicked. And did land a few in the rocess... O'Brien got a slashing penalty for knocking the stick lout of Reitz's hands. Thats a clean cut call. In this instance,,, It should NOT have been made... Reitz should have gotten a cross checking penalty... But because it was NOT against the boards and he kept his arms down and didnt extend his hands, i say its a decent no call... Just my opinion...

Reitz with his best tough guy impression, only lands a good shot over top of the linesmen at the end with his large visor on. Easy decision O'Brien.

Reitz deserved a much worse beating than he got. He's lucky that visor absorbed so many punches and cut O'Brien's hand or the fight would have left him messy. He also got lucky that the penalties favoured his team and that the crosscheck wasn't called. FYI, 3rd man in penalties are called when 2 players are fighting and someone joins in, not when when 2 players are talking and someone comes in to fight.

It kills me how all the Mini fans say why didn't he fight Boogs everytime one of their players losses a fight. first off Boogs is never on the ice cause hes terrible and fight wise this year so far he is 0-1-1 with a licken from Belak. Definitely a draw, and I don't see how anyone could say otherwise. O'Brien got some good licks at the beginning and Reitz got some knocks in at the end. Obviously no clear winner.
