ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Posted by Enfilade on December 24, 2009 at 08:29 AM

Nolan looked really pissed, I kept waiting for him to go off and just start wailing but nothing much ever happened. Quite dissapointing. Draw.

Posted by slavv on December 27, 2009 at 05:00 PM

Was disappointed in this one. Souray has not fought in awhile and he looked disinterested. Nolan has never been outstanding. Draw for a boring so-called fight...

DRAW Boring!

Posted by letsrock27 on December 24, 2009 at 02:57 PM

LOL, give this one a draw. Maybe Nolan with the slightest of edges but it is clearly Nolan who puts the death grip on Souray here after throwing a couple of bombs. After that big uppercut he does nothing but tie up both of Souray's arms. Anyways, crap fight!

NOLAN = SEATBELT

Posted by Truk on December 24, 2009 at 02:19 PM

Not the fight I was looking for. These guys could have gone nuts if they wanted to. Who's the clown below saying Shelly "fights like a girl" cause he was trying to remove his helmet? Sounds like you're the girl. Don't forget to pick up your son from Ringette practice you goof.

A Hug fest

ALOT OF PUSHING AND PULLING. NO CLEAR WINNER...

Posted by Sasky001 on December 24, 2009 at 12:09 PM

This was a real fight (not the staged crap we see every game)...unfortunately neither of them could get loose.

draw draw draw.

Spirited effort by two vets. Respectable draw.

I love to watch multimillionaires fight each other.

Posted by clownbaby on December 27, 2009 at 08:59 PM

Watch out for the fighin' irishman when he gets his blood boiling. Not much of a fight but at least Nolan avoided the bionic elbow of Souray

Posted by rpbowlinggod on December 24, 2009 at 01:18 PM

A push fest but the old guys didn't want to be shown up by the youngsters and decided to throw down. Entertaining to say the least

Posted by dino-saur on December 25, 2009 at 01:05 AM

Jesus-clash of the fossils!!! This would have been a good fight 15 years ago!!!! I think there was a pile of bone dust, rotten teeth, and grey hair left on the ice when they were done. Listen guys, better drink some milk, take some calcium and Geritol, get a good nights sleep, and sort this out over the phone in the morning (if you can both reach the phone).......

Posted by sce.a.hamster on December 24, 2009 at 02:13 PM

Nolan is aging now and it showed during this fight. 8 years ago Souray would have needed a stretcher after this and the refs would have been afraid to intervene.

Posted by Mouseman on December 28, 2009 at 11:59 PM

Every Irishman has one more fight left in him!

Posted by bostonrs555 on December 24, 2009 at 08:46 AM

After Souray landed his big shot Owen locked up... Nolon throws everything but his colostomy bag at Souray, good enough for a DEERAWWWW

Posted by tattooedkingpin on December 25, 2009 at 08:19 PM

I think this was a good , solid Draw

Posted by bruiser11 on December 24, 2009 at 01:07 PM

These 2 Played when they used 2 let you fight longer..Nolan was always a fav of mine, draw here though nothing devestating

Two great vets, who can both drop em with anybody. DRAW

Posted by bruins rule on December 24, 2009 at 08:07 AM

have to give this fight a draw.

nolan landed

Posted by BigFistRocco on December 24, 2009 at 12:01 AM

Not much to see. P.S. "brokenleg" is still a boner

Posted by SABREHATRED on December 24, 2009 at 03:02 PM

Pretty close, both men are warriors!!!! While buffalo is full of scum!!!!

Posted by GCBC00 on December 24, 2009 at 11:44 AM

Well, they're both veterans and have done plenty of this during thier careers. Nice to see two guys scrap for the sake of tossing hands and defending thier teams honor. Unfortunately it looked like Souray had a SLIGHT edge here at the beginning, but Old man Nolan did OK at getting back into the war. Although, maybe about ten years ago, this would have been a great fight. Both landed a few but not too exciting. Hard to say anyone destroyed either fighter in this one-don't know what Brokenleg is talking about...must be MCB in disguise! DRAW.

Posted by trailmix on December 26, 2009 at 08:17 AM

This was like watching Coccoon 3, I mean, damn these guys are old.

Posted by RLPenns on December 26, 2009 at 10:57 AM

This one is too close to call.

Posted by MrOiler on December 29, 2009 at 02:36 AM

Both were tied up by each other. Not much of a fight - Nolan looked like all he wanted was to tie up Souray. Likely a good idea.

Posted by Jordybats99 on February 01, 2016 at 09:52 PM

Ok fight for two older guys. Draw.

Posted by LAKINGSNUT on December 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM

gotta love two old vets going at it in the heat of the battle! i think both guys landed a few with no clear winner, maybe the slightest of edges to Nolan, but i'll go with a draw!

Posted by DARCY T on January 09, 2010 at 08:51 AM

draw

Posted by rowbearprobear on December 25, 2009 at 10:08 PM

Two mean tough bastards here boys! I was secretly hoping they would throw one of those double dong knock out blows with both fighters falling to the ice at the same time. Both men saw who they were fighting and took this one seriously- rightfully so. Draw with a slight edge to the irishman.

Posted by tomdetroit on December 24, 2009 at 02:12 PM

Nolan won by landing a couple of punches then hanging on for dear life. Sheldon would have hammered him otherwise.

Posted by Jmoy on December 24, 2009 at 11:01 AM

Nolan, nothing like a 38yr old getting into a fight AND scoring the game winning goal. Boring fight although it looked like it had potential as both guys looks upset. Nolan usually throws during a fight but it looked like he just couldn't get free and Souray looked like he didn't want to throw unless it was going to be a clean shot. Results, no one really did anything.

Posted by W.Plett on December 23, 2009 at 11:02 PM

Very disapointing. At least Souray didnt use his hard plastic brace this time. Brokenleg if that was your definition of someone getting destroyed maybe you should take up basket weaving as a hobby.

Posted by gkcs7 on December 25, 2009 at 08:16 PM

edge to nolanfor landing 3 clean, souray a little wobbly !

Posted by Rynryn on December 26, 2009 at 09:49 AM

Nolan is a tough, ornery mofo but souray should have handled him easily. what, no wrist guard? Not absolutely positive about what landed but it looked like Nolan had a shot in there while i didn't see anything from souray. edge nolan.

Posted by followthecode on December 23, 2009 at 11:08 PM

Slight edge to old man Nolan. Landed a couple more punches. None of the activity Souray had at the end landed.

Posted by wildfan4eva on December 24, 2009 at 12:37 AM

4 years, 3 inches, and 15 pounds is what Souray has on Nolan, but I think the old man held his own just fine. Draw, each landed one descent shot.

Posted by peeks on December 24, 2009 at 12:38 AM

Nolan with a good uppercut in the beginning, but in the end no real damage done by either fighter, Draw.

Posted by Blackhawk23 on December 24, 2009 at 01:12 PM

Nolan is so old school, he is from another era. I like Souray and what he brings to the table as an offensive D-man, as for the fight nothing special, i give the edge to Nolan.

Posted by Bear72 on December 24, 2009 at 09:10 AM

Edge to Nolan......Merry Christmas to all and remember those mentally challenged like Broke leg in your candlelight services......and remember its Naughty or Nice to pick on the handicapped

Posted by allienmort on December 23, 2009 at 11:07 PM

Draw, maybe an edge to Nolan. It looked like if any punches landed Nolan may have connected with one or two more. Souray immediately goes for Nolens helmet to try and get an edge. I suppose his wrist brace wasn't his edge tonight so he has to see what other way he can fight like a little girl. He's just a POS cheater, plain and simple. Maybe next time he can try and poke eyes or pull hair.

Posted by crosscheck52 on December 24, 2009 at 12:15 AM

I give Nolan the edge.

Posted by kimo_coyote on December 24, 2009 at 11:50 AM

Owen with edge. Souray is a dirty P****

Posted by cory411 on December 24, 2009 at 04:37 PM

I can't stand that pussy Souray... First Stortini didnt want to fight Boogaard then Souray goes and cross checks Boogaard but then Boogaard turns around and challenges Souray, souray skates away with a piece of shyt in his pants... But 8 mins later souray is fighting Nolan.. Like come on..... All the OILERS are chickn shyt's....... Souray should be lucky NOLAN was tired after spending 1min out on the powerplay... Nolan would have dropped that fagget!!

decent scrap,,slight edge to Nolan

Posted by yotesman on December 24, 2009 at 03:03 PM

Two old time players with not much to do. Edge to Nolan. However, got enough rest for winning GOAL.

Posted by rocky 1 on January 12, 2010 at 09:04 PM

Owen Nolan looks reluctant to fight Souray period.Only punches landed by Souray and Nolan hangs on for dear life.Anyone voting for Nolan in this one is a homer period.Win Souray!

Posted by BigTot on December 24, 2009 at 03:47 PM

An ok scrap. Nothing special. A few punches landed by each guy. DRAW

Posted by Tony Esposito on December 24, 2009 at 12:13 PM

Both these guys have been really good fighters though the years. Solid draw.

Posted by claire alexande on December 26, 2009 at 05:13 PM

Draw. Souray (thinking to self): "Hmmm, this guy's too small to be Boogaard, so I guess I can act tuff with him."

Posted by piney on December 25, 2009 at 05:58 AM

draw

Posted by NorthStars67 on December 23, 2009 at 10:57 PM

Landed hits were equal, Souray took off Nolan's helmet but didn't land a shot to the head after that. Owen was strong in the beginning, Souray was strong in the end.

Posted by J.R. Abel on December 24, 2009 at 05:19 PM

Draw. no clear winner. Can't give an edge to either guy.

Nolan with the edge in this one.

Posted by Cherndig on December 24, 2009 at 11:24 AM

Old Vet still can throw down! Nice Win for Nolan!

Posted by dmsiii on December 24, 2009 at 01:02 AM

Brokenleg has to be MCB, right? Or at least his retarded cousin.

Posted by tomales2 on December 24, 2009 at 08:37 AM

Ok scrap. but expected more from these two. I sure have noticed a great many more uppercuts this year-effective. Edge to Nolan but I'm biased. "I love to watch multimillionaires fight each other." lol, lol!

Posted by samtheman on December 27, 2009 at 08:41 AM

Giving the decision to Nolan because he is 60 years old and still dropping the gloves!

Posted by 7777777 on December 24, 2009 at 05:00 PM

Nolan lands more.

Posted by Wings_19 on December 23, 2009 at 10:35 PM

Hey brokenleg, at almost 38 years old Owen Nolan has 9 goals, good for second on the Oilers. Souray wins but in a short fight with not much going on

welcome MCB and his new name... brokenleg
