great hit, crap fight

Horrible fight. Not one good punch landed. Man these guys can't fight.

I'm not sure how you folks give Salvador the overwhelming win here. First of all, he's punching Dan's helmet and his shoulder pads on his back for the entire fight, and second, Salvador gets face washed and falls over to end the bout. Big winner eh? No damage…Draw.

I've watched this video about 10 times now, and neither player lands a single punch on anything other than helmet or padding. Hence, no damage. Hence, obvious draw. Salvador was the aggressor for most of the fight, Carcillo had the take down, but I think you have to land at least one punch to win a fight. Punch by punch breakdown below: 0:06 - They grab each other. 0:07 - 0:13 - Salvador hits the back of Carcillo's helmet exactly 8 times. 0:14 - 0:19 - Salvador hits Carcillo in the padding 4 times (not low enough to get under the padding, doubt Carcillo even felt those). 0:20 - Carcillo punches the top of Salvador's helmet. 0:22 - Salvador throws a big uppercut that catches all jersey. This was the closest to a punch actually landing in the whole fight... just missed Carcillo's jaw. 0:25 - At first I thought this was a landed punch by Salvador, but after watching it 10 times it's obvious his hand either doesn't get all the way there or is traveling 1 mph when it does as it hits the side of Carcillo's helmet. 0:27 - 0:30 - Face washing and take down by Carcillo, but that hardly wins him the fight. There's a lot of anti-Flyers or anti-Carcillo bias that thinks this is anything other than a draw.

Without having seen the game, I'm not sure why Carcillo seemed so convinced that Salvador was not gonna come up throwing. That's the only reason I can think of why he's so flat footed here. Props to Salvador for landing a good hit, then being more than ready to answer the bell when Carcillo takes exception. Easy win all around for Salvador...

Salvador was flailing away like a windmill so he takes the decision. In the third period Carcillo took a bonehead ten minute misconduct for arguing with Devorski that at the time I thought would kill the Flyers comeback. Lucky for Carcillo it didn't.

Salvador has the advantage not a big one though..Nice to see that puke Carcilla nailed with a nice clean hit before hand, Although I can't say the same for Carter. YA he's a scorcer but he should have had a 5 and a game when he ran that scandnavian dude after he scored! just goes to show you that the NHL picks on the thougher edged guys more, like even say that was Andrew peters hitting a flyer like that, action would be taken without a doubt!. It's all about the scorers in this game. Offense wins the game, still players should be held accountable though! You can't say Carter shouldn't have been penalized for that 1!

Okay I fcukn hate Carcillo... He dives way to much... I think he and Boll are brothers, they both like to seem their tough but they only fight smaller guys that never fight...
