Christ, you homer announcers! Boogaard's nose was not broken! I don't know how many times I have heard that, it's complete BS. Actually, that Boogy vs King fight was 10 times better than this crap fest! Draw here, but no doubt that King popped Boogy a good in the their bout that the announcers in this fight JUST HAD to mention, the funny thing is that after that one punch (that didn't even faze Boogs), King wanted nothing more to do with the fight anymore.

Draw, close fight with not much happening. As the NHL goes thru a transition toward no fighting, look for players like King and Boogaard to end up in the AHL ,either that ,or greatly improve their playing skills.

This was a textbook. Too bad Belak couldn't shake his elbow pad because he had to fight defensively and I think King, being an honorable sort, held back a bit too. What we DID learn from the member scoring, however, is that the Blues homers are the most ridiculous homers on this site.

I'm going with a Draw. King connected early with a right...and Belak comes right back with an upper-cut. Would have liked to see more bombs thrown but it was dictated by Belak unable to loose his elbow pad and appeared unable to grip with his left...causing him to be more defensive.

Love the way this started (the hit, and the response challenge), but other than that early right by King, a combination of overly cautious hugginess, and an awkward, loose elbow pad... eventually led to fight that failed to live up to it's potential. Despite my ''King-fan-ed-ness''...draw.

Equipment problems for Wade limited him unleashing with the left hand.

belak needs to get some sun

kind of a cheap shot by king.. belak tries to respond, but neither one really accomplishes much. i give a slight edge to belak for getting up and defending himself after getting 'boarded' (ish).. not a very good fight by either guy

Belak took a nice right in the begining and about fell off his skates, and quit after that. Watch after King pulls on his sweater to get his closer as he does his signature skate around his opponent, then connected with his right. Belek quit and played teddy bear hug time. Win King

too bad about the elbow pad for belak (not a fan) would have made the fight better as he pretty much had to defend. edge King.

Looked like it was gonna be a dandy early on. King almost knocks Belak down with a shot upside his head and they look like they're just chuck 'em. But then it turns into a slow dance.

Pretty even tilt both fighters pretty cautious for good reason. I think King did get the better hits in but close to a draw. and wildfan4eva you mention homer announcers in regard to the comment on King breaking Boogaard's nose...well genius this was a Nashville broadcast you can see the FS Predators in the top right corner. Boy you don`t mess with DJ King is this guy becoming the new menace in the NHL or what? Reviewing this bout about 15 times and King lands two heavy righthand bombs to the breadbasket of Belak who somehow is able to keep his composure while Belak lands one impact hit. Win on points for King, good no- nonsense no- fluff heavyweight combat.

What was Belak holding in his hand when he was "trying" to punch King? His sleeve was pulled over his hand and it looked like something from the WWE. I thought he was going to go grab a chair and maybe slam the announcers table with it. Clearly a win for DJ King here....close to a draw but not a chance in hell that you could give this one to Belak!
