Announcers gotta go. Souray misses with all those shots and spins Clackson to the ice. Such homer bullshit.
How did Souray break his hand when he never landed a punch, all those wild punches missed!!!
A WASHED UP BUM TRYING TO GET BACK TO THE NHL BY PICKING A FIGHT WITH A KID HE'S 25 LBS HEAVIER AND 5 IN. TALLER;;;HE NEVER LANDED A PUNCH AND DID NOTHING TO CLACKSON BUT SPIN HIM AROUND;;;AND BUSTED HIS HAND UP ;;;OUT FOR 3 TO 4 WEEKS A ;;;A LITTLE LATER WHEN HE RETURNED HE BUSTED UP HIS ANGLE GOING FOR A PUCK IN THE CORNER AGAINST CLACKSON.;;WHEN IS THIS WASHED UP BUM GOING TO REALIZE HE CAN'T COMPETE WITH THESE YOUNG GUYS EVEN THO HE'S MUCH BIGGER THAN THEY ARE;;;A DRAW ALL THE WAY WITH THE EDGE TO CLACKSON FOR HANGING IN THERE.
you all must be bears fans. Souray won, but that was no "savage beatdown" he didnt even actually hit him until matt hit the ground.
Unbelievable post by KO22....it's almost trying to make sense to a five-year-old lol. Did Souray really "Have" to fight Clackson"? Wow He outweighed him by 25 pounds and is 5' taller. You are talking in circles dude.....and to top it off...you really bore me with your weak arguments.oh. I have been to most of the games Souray has played in...and I see a terrible defensman. His teamates usually have to cover for his many mistkes....Washed up Bum
I don't know how Souray broke his hand I didn't see one punch land. I still gave the fight to Sheldon for tossing him around like a rag doll!
nfotiu671 - yawn! Next time you "attempt" to put together a sentence while trying to insult somebody, proof read it, or better yet, have an adult nearby proof read it, so the adults that are on here can try to understand what you're saying. If you dislike Souray come out and say it, but don't invent arguments to cover up what is an obvious dislike for the guy on your part. It's juvenile and pointless. I see no need to further this as you're insignificant and I've made my point.
I saw several hits by Souray to Clackson's head, as well as the use of Clackson to clean the ice: tossed like a rag doll. I guess something like this is to be expected as the youngsters try to make a name for themselves fighting a veteran NHL enforcer. Given the quality of several of the Caps players in Hershey, they need a top quality enforcer to offer some protection.
Souray, ''lefts'' out his frustrations on an unsuspecting Clackson.
Souray lit him up,and then turned him out.
Clackson=ragdoll. Souray must be getting bagged on by EVERYBODY he plays against for failing to stay in the show and blowing that huge contract.
I love that Souray stole this Clackson guy's lunch money even though he makes 100x the salary.
Tool show, Clackson will not see any time in the NHL any time soon. Glad he is a Punk, That just got Punked.
Maybe, just maybe, this was a little bit of a mismatch, but the AHL is full of young heros who would love to fight a vet from the show. Clackson learned a lesson, good on him for stepping up to the plate. (and being able to dodge some mean lefts)
Souray shows this kid why he is a legit NHL and a tough one at that. I expected some trash to coax Sheldon into something after I heard he got sent down and I also pictured this kind of outcome. By that I mean Souray filling the guy and likely breaking his hand or wrist in some way. I like that guy but he should probably have stuck to playing hockey and not starting up with management in Edmonton, now he wont be back in the bigs until his outrageous contract is expired. But all in all I like having Souray as the gatekeeper to the NHL.
After reading the comments on this post i am certain that these people got there heads up there asses! Souray is a very large and strong man .I have meet him in person and have had the opportunity to watch him play.He is not afraid of fighting anyone and most of the heavies stay away from him. They know he ko,s people ! This kid found out the difference between fighting boys and fighting real men.Souray is a destroyer!Just like when Macintyre came back down and destroyed all takers good luck BOYS!
@abby811--Souray cranked him with 2 good ones to the head. too bad he broke his hand, and too bad he didn't do this to Iginla last year!
I was at this game and had a great view of the fight. Souray kicked some butt. He landed 5 amazing punches and one after the guys fell. I can prove it if you want me to? And if you guys call him "washed up" then why does he still have a 100 mph slapper?
Draw without a doubt...hit him again when hes down yea thats it...your washed up bum..so what u beat his ass down your still a bum!
Souray layeth the smackith downith...hope that hand heals quick bro
All Sheldon, guess he's not just collecting a paycheck is he.
Souray's 4th game back in the AHL after 12 years and he just destroys Clackson here. He put the kid in his place. Too bad he broke his hand again.
I wouldn't mind being a bum who makes millions and fights like that...... If he broke his hand he's lucky cause now he can make his money and not have Young punks gunnin to make a name for themselves on a Legit NHL er....Every f ing game!!!! second angle is good, I really think he rocked him with the left...He's a right hander and I wonder if he hurt it on that first strait to the head or did he do his left.....Either or ....It was a great display!!!!
Clackson got put in his place but man oh man talk about a bad timing....if an nhl team was interested they are seriously rethinking it now. Hurt again in another fight.
Clackson is Souray's new punching bag
