The fight breakdown
This was going to happen before the puck was even dropped. As the puck is dropped, both Jamie Oleksiak and Nicolas Deslauriers drop the gloves and ready for battle.
Both guys come in and swipe for position (in a battle with a 6' difference in height that will happen). Deslauriers is the first to throw some punches with not much landing. Oleksiak responds with a few body shots of his own. When Oleksiak starts to come over the top and hit Deslauriers' head, the fight gets a lot closer. Oleksiak gets Deslauriers into a head lock of sorts before pushing back and trying to unload again. Deslauriers, not be outdone, does continue to swing the right. The two trade back and forth, as they begin to drift towards the Stars bench. When they do reach the bench the linesmen come in and break it up.
