Jody Shelley vs. Dale Purinton
1 Pd 10:32
@CBJ NYR Dale Purinton
With the Rangers down 2-0 and showing very little life, Purinton tries to spark his team. Starts off very spirited, with each throwing rights. Shelley lands a good right to Purinton's cheek. Shelley seems to be in control with a flurry of punches, but Purinton comes back to make it respectable, landing a few himself. Shelley got the takedown to end the fight.

Jody Shelley vs. Brad May
3 Pd 2:58
@CBJ VAN Brad May
May checked Shelley into the boards and they talked about going, shook off the gloves and Shelley popped May with a right. May came back with a right of his own and Shelley tried another right, then May pulled Shelley to the ice.

Wade Brookbank vs. Jody Shelley
2 Pd 3:27
CBJ @NSH Wade Brookbank
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (42.9%) - Voted rating: 7.3
Fair squareoff at center ice as Brookbank throws a right jab to Shelley's face as Shelley comes in for the grab, then gets the first right off to the helmet. They are now locked and loaded, holding on with the left and throwing rights - first two miss, Shelley lands a right to the chin, then they both throw grazing blows with a pair of blind right hands. Shelley tosses a pair of rights in close that go nowhere as BB does the same. They continue to hold on with left hands, chucking rights - Shelley lands on the temple, Brookbank throws a right into the air in front of Jody's face while Shelley's right lands on top of BB's helmet (he's hunched over a little). Both miss with rights in stereo - now a little grappling. As BB's left comes free Shelley tries to throw another right, so Brookbank grabs back on, then grazes a right off of the top of Shelley's helmet and misses with another right. Jody switches hands, grabs hold with the right and tries the left, going nowhere, switches back to the right. Now they are both facing each other, lefts extended on each other's jerseys, here come the rights - BB misses with two while Shelley lands a soft one on the kisser. Both land soft rights to the face with no damage, both miss again, next Brookbank throws a right as his elbow pad comes sliding down his arm into Shelley's face, looks like an extension or something. Shelley's coming forward, misses with a right. Brookbank is backing up, a slap with the right to Jody's cheek, so Jody grabs BB's right and tries an overhand left that misses. BB's crouched down in front away from Shelley, now pulling with both hands on Jody's right arm to throw him off balance. Shelley stands up and with his free left comes down on Brookbank's back with a powder-puff toss. They start pushing to try to get free, Brookbank is down on a knee with Shelley on top, looks like its over, but he gets right back up and they start hugging. Brookbank is trying to get Shelley's jersey off, then misses with a right, Jody just misses with a left across the bow. Brookbank's right has come out of his jersey, he tries to get it back on but can't, and they keep wrestling. They're now locked out as Shelley throws a right that doesn't do much damage. Brookbank bounces a right off of Shelley's temple. A little more wrestling and a spin. Rights in stereo miss. Brookbank's helmet is off now as he throws a right that lands with no sting. They both miss with wild rights, now they are holding on gasping as the linesmen step in to give them a much needed rest. A lot of action, almost no damage.

Jody Shelley vs. John Erskine
1 Pd 6:38
@CBJ DAL John Erskine
Late camera as Spacek is laying on the ice after taking a puck to the leg. They finally get to the fight and Shelley and Erskine each exchange a right before Shelley throws him down while throwing another.

Krzysztof Oliwa vs. Jody Shelley
1 Pd 6:10
CBJ @CAL Krzysztof Oliwa
Shelley finishes a check on Oliwa along the side boards. Oliwa, gives Shelley a couple of cross checks to the back. They skate toe to toe, Oliwa drops the mitts. Shelley waits, then finally drops them himself. Oliwa instantly lands two square rights to the cheek/eye. A couple of wild swings from Shelley, neither seem to connect or cause any damage. They wrestle around for a bit and the linesmen step in. Shelley has a large cut under his eye, decent amount of blood. Other Penalties: Oliwa received a cross checking and roughing.

Jody Shelley vs. Krzysztof Oliwa

Looked like a toe-to-toe scrap with Oliwa landing a little harder. Side note: Shelley scored two goals, including one on the power play.

Chris Neil vs. Jody Shelley
3 Pd 12:43
CBJ @OTT Chris Neil
Voted winner:  Chris Neil   (91.7%) - Voted rating: 7.7
During play, they agree to go, dropping the gloves and tying up. Shelley misses with an overhand right as Neil moves his head to the side. Neil lands a weak right. Shelley nails him with a solid right of his own, then misses. Neil hammers Shelley with two lefts, the second one knocking the helmet off of Shelley's head. Then they both swing at the same time, can't tell if they landed, but Shelley loses his balance, going to the ice then quickly getting back up. They both land a right at the same time. A few glancing blows are exchanged before Neil lands a rock solid right to Shelley's jaw. Shelley goes down to one knee as Neil swings again. He tries to muscle himself free of the grip Neil has on his jersey, but the linesmen come in and grab them. Shelley barks some parting words at Neil.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Shane Hnidy vs. Jody Shelley
3 Pd 2:59
CBJ @OTT Shane Hnidy
It starts along the boards, Hnidy trips as the fight starts. Shelley takes advantage throwing two rights, one lands, knocking of Hnidy's helmet. Hnidy tries throwing something, but Shelley has a good hold of him. They begin to wrestle, and that pretty much continues for the rest of the fight. During all the wrestling, Shelley tried throwing rights, but nothing landed. Hnidy throws a few lefts, which go nowhere and a two rights near the end of the fight, which barely touch Shelley.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Jody Shelley vs. Hal Gill
1 Pd 6:12
@CBJ BOS Hal Gill
It started during a scrum after a Ling slash, looked like all was done and then Gill and Shelley drop em. Gill is trying to hold Shelley off, Shelley attempts to throw punches which didn't look to connect then on comes the commercial! Replay showed nothing much happening after that though. Other Penalties: David Ling received a slashing.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Jody Shelley vs. Eric Godard
1 Pd 2:41
@CBJ NYI Eric Godard
Voted winner:  Eric Godard   (83.3%) - Voted rating: 8.3
They line up opposite each other on the faceoff, Godard taps Shelley the puck is dropped and away we go, nice even squareoff. Shelley goes in first, throwing rights, Godard then answers with rights of his own, both guys are landing right hands. Godard puts his head down to throw a nice right uppercut that lands square on Shelleys face. Both guys are just chucking them in an excellent scrap, but Godard did land a better punch or two, square to Shelley's face while Shelley was generally getting helmet. Shelley was dripping a decent amount of blood from his nose when it was done.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Jim McKenzie vs. Jody Shelley
1 Pd 3:14
CBJ @NSH Jim McKenzie
They are skating in front of the Nashville net behind the play and agree to drop the gloves. Big Mac immediately gets a death grip on Shelley's right and Jody does likewise. The only punch thrown was a short right by McKenzie.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Steve McLaren vs. Jody Shelley
1 Pd 4:25
CBJ @STL Steve McLaren
They squareoff for about 45 seconds before both lunge in and start chucking knuckles. A couple seconds of good toe-to-toe punching with Shelley landing more then McLaren. Good tilt.

Alex Henry vs. Jody Shelley
2 Pd 10:11
CBJ @MIN Alex Henry
Voted winner:  Alex Henry   (79.4%) - Voted rating: 6.9
They drop em, and get going quick, each with the rights. Shelley throws a bunch, landing a few, while Henry only gets off a couple, maybe landing one. They're in a slow spin, do about a 180, and then start going again. Shelley gets off one, while Henry pops Shelley with two shots, the second one sending him to the ice. They tangle on the ice for a moment while the linesmen immediately come in.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Jody Shelley vs. Steve McLaren
1 Pd 9:0
@CBJ STL Steve McLaren
These two go for the second time in 2 weeks. Starts off with good toe-to-toe action with Shelley landing a beauty early that looked to stun McLaren. The fight then slows down mid-way and towards the end McLaren seems to get a second wind and lands a few, one of which cuts Shelley's upper lip.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Jody Shelley vs. Scott Parker
1 Pd 2:16
@CBJ SJS Scott Parker
Parker's first shift on the ice, and he makes a b-line for Shelley. They quickly shed the gloves. They squareoff and Parker grabs on with his left. They both have their rights cocked back and start to trade about three or four rights back and forth. Parker gets in some jersey-jabs with his left hand and they both throw a couple of more rights until they lock up and Parker wrestles Shelley to the ice.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Darcy Hordichuk vs. Jody Shelley

CBJ @FLA Darcy Hordichuk
They drop the gloves, Shelley quickly loses balance and falls. The refs then break it up. Majors are mysteriously handed out.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Ryan VandenBussche vs. Jody Shelley
1 Pd 2:56
CBJ @CHI Ryan VandenBussche
Starts at center ice. When the camera gets there they have a good hold on each other's arms. Shelley threw a right uppercut and Vandy tried some over the top lefts, nothing landing of any significance. They grapple some more and both threw a connecting punch at the same time, Shelley with the left and Vandy with the right. Vandy had Shelley bent over and the linesmen decided to jump in. Vandy more active in this fight then Shelley was.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Johnathan Aitken vs. Jody Shelley
3 Pd 7:3
CBJ @CHI Johnathan Aitken
Takes place pretty much right off the draw in the Chicago zone. Aitken does alright at the start being the busier fighter earlier on. Shelley then falls down to a knee and sort of uses his strength to hold Aitken at bay. They have a pretty good hold of one another, but Shelley gets his right free and throws a few, then removes Aitken's helmet. Now Jody takes over and lands 3-4 nice right crosses and then a good right uppercut all flush to the head/face. Aitken tries to get the takedown and the linesmen come into to stop the long fight.

1 Pd 14:48
@CBJ CHI Ryan VandenBussche
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (26.3%) - Voted rating: 7.8
They meet up towards the blue line and drop the gloves. They grab on and just start chucking them. Vandy with the lefts and Shelley with the rights, good toe to toe action. They slow down and each get the other's helmet off. They start up again, although not as piston-like this time. Shelley tries to switch hands, throws a left over the top and Vandy's tucked into Shelley's jersey to avoid it, and pushes him to the ice as the linesmen come in. They skate off and Vandy has a small cut on his nose.

Jody Shelley vs. Sean Brown
1 Pd 14:58
@CBJ NJD Sean Brown
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (72.2%) - Voted rating: 5.6
Devs take a 3-0 lead and you know something is about to brew. Shelley hits Sean Brown behind the net and challenges him. Both are throwing rights. Shelley tries with a huge uppercut and misses. Looks like Brown tagged him once since Shelley is bleeding above the lip. It really didn't look like anyone landed any solid punches, but Brown landed at least that one.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Jody Shelley vs. Matt Johnson
1 Pd 8:43
@CBJ MIN Matt Johnson
Voted winner:  Matt Johnson   (75%) - Voted rating: 7.9
Johnson and Shelley decide to go off a faceoff in the Jackets' zone. They sqaure off and Shelley starts it with a left to Johnson's chest. Johnson grabs on with his left and throws a big right to the back of a ducking Shelley's head. Johnson rings another heavy right of the top of Shelley's helmet. Shelley loses his balance, going to his knee, then getting back up. Johnson throws an uppercut that doesn't quite land. They both throw rights, with Johnson's landing and Shelley's missing. They throw rights again, with both just grazing each other's temple. Shelley rings a right on the side of Johnson's helmet. Johnson tries to jab him with the jerseyed-left. Shelley throws another right to Johnson's helmet. Johnson lands a decent right to Shelley's neck as Shelley lands a right on Johnson's ear, then ducks under a Johnson right. Shelley tries a left that's blocked and then kisses a right off Johnson's jaw. Johnson misses a right and Shelley catches helmet with his left, knocking it off Johnson's head. In tight now, Johnson grazes a left on Shelley's face. Shelley lands a right to Johnson's head, then comes up short on another right. Johnson lands a heavy right to Shelley's helmet, then ducks a Shelley right as they lose balance and fall. Good fight.

Jody Shelley vs. Scott Parker
1 Pd 7:26
@CBJ SJS Scott Parker
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (25.5%) - Voted rating: 5.8
They square off at center ice. Circling around they each grab a hold with the left and start chucking rights. They have a decent exchange with each landing a few. Parker mixed it up a little by throwing a couple of body shots. They come together, get in a hug and Parker gets the takedown.

Jody Shelley vs. Jim McKenzie
1 Pd 3:20
@CBJ NSH Jim McKenzie
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (50%) - Voted rating: 5.2
On the faceoff immediately after the Tootoo-Wright fight, these guys discard the unneeded gear. Shelley starts with two rights that catch Jim, Mac came back with three lefts and Shelley threw four more rights, looked pretty even. They grappled a bit then Shelley unloaded with six or seven overhand noogies that really looked to bounce Mac's head around. They grappled in-tight again and Mac really was looking to unload a lethal right on Shelley but never got the chance. Shelley then threw another overhand shot while they are in-close, Mac answered with three or four of his own that looked to land. A couple of more short shots by both and the linesmen come in.

Scott Parker vs. Jody Shelley
2 Pd 2:57
CBJ @SJS Scott Parker
Voted winner:  Scott Parker   (94%) - Voted rating: 7.2
Off the faceoff Shelley asks and Parker obliges. Shelley gets a quick right off dislodging Parker's helmet and they trade rights. Both are keeping each other at arms-length. Parker uses his left to throw quick, effective left jabs. Parker is getting Shelley's jersey up in his face trying to get in closer. Parker has control in this one, initiating all exchanges. Parker goes to some body shots with the right. They hold on longer to find that right moment to punch and they finally both get loose and trade some right bombs with both landing some decent ones. Parker then gets the elbow pad loose, throwing more shots to the side, then a few over the top with Shelley coming back with some misfired rights of his own. They tire and the linesmen come in.

Jody Shelley vs. Wade Brookbank
1 Pd 9:31
@CBJ VAN Wade Brookbank
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (58.8%) - Voted rating: 7.3
These two guys drop the gloves behind the play. After a square off they grab on and start tossing haymakers. Brookbank connects early with a good shot that looks to cut Shelley. Shelley comes back with a couple of good shots of his own, knocking Brookbank off-balance and dropping him to his knees. Brookbank gets back up and they both throw a few more punches.

Jody Shelley vs. Wade Brookbank

@CBJ VAN Wade Brookbank
Voted winner:  Wade Brookbank   (65%) - Voted rating: 7
Shelley hears Brookbank yell something at him and the gloves fly. Shelley lands an initial bomb, but Brookbank gets off about 6-8 rights. Shelley straightens himself up and gets in about 2-3 shots, one stunning Brookbank, before they tie each other up by the bench and the refs come in.
Date/Time For Against Opponent
Krzysztof Oliwa vs. Jody Shelley
2 Pd 6:9
CBJ @CAL Krzysztof Oliwa
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (69.2%) - Voted rating: 6.3
Right off a faceoff, they get the gloves up and then drop em. Shelley nails Oliwa with about three quick rights before Oliwa gets off anything. They get locked up a little and then they both start throwing rights with few landing by either man. At the end Oliwa gets in a good right and then they get tangled up and Shelley goes for the takedown.

Wade Brookbank vs. Jody Shelley
1 Pd 6:19
CBJ @VAN Wade Brookbank
Voted winner:  Wade Brookbank   (48%) - Voted rating: 4.7
Both grab a hold of some jersey and start chucking rights. Nothing looks to land from either guy. Brookbank then gets a bit loose and lets off a flurry of jabs, perhaps three or four, connecting on at least one, cutting Shelley. Brookbank then ties Shelley up. The linesmen try to come in, but Shelley tells them not to and Brookbank continues to just tie up Shelley until the linesmen do step in.

Jody Shelley vs. Alex Henry
2 Pd 6:1
@CBJ MIN Alex Henry
Voted winner:  Jody Shelley   (76.9%) - Voted rating: 3.6
At the end of the play someone gives Richardson a little shove in front of the Blue Jackets net. Players come together along the boards and Henry grabs a hold of a Jacket so over comes Shelley. Shelley drops the gloves and pops Henry with a big right smack in the eye. Down goes Henry, gloves still on. The announcers mentioned Henry was bleeding, but it was not shown. Other Penalties: Shelley received a roughing, misconduct and game misconduct; Stephane Veilleux a roughing.
