After some action near the net the whistle blows and a scrum forms. Bertuzzi pulls Henry out of the scrum and they drop em. Both are locked in with the left and throwing rights, although neither player can reach the other one well and the punches don't seem to land square or simply come up short. Henry tries to get loose from Bertuzzi's grip and winds up on his knees and the linesmen come in.

They come together and grapple along the boards. Mayers might have gotten a couple in, but nothing really lands well. Mayers seems to have Henry a little off-balance. Henry throws a short shot while taking Mayers to the ice.

They drop the gloves at the blueline and tie up. Vandenbussche throws a couple of locked out lefts before switching to the right and throwing a couple of jersey-jabs that knock off Henry's helmet. Vandenbussche switches hands again and throws two lefts while Henry is turned around. Henry turns back around and grabs on to Vandenbussche and throws a short left as they wrestle around for a bit. Vandenbuscche throws a locked out left and then a right before the two finally get loose. Henry throws a couple of rights as the two exchange numerous punches; Henry with rights, Vandenbussche with the left. Vandenbussche stops throwing as Henry throws a couple of more rights before Vandenbussche returns fire with a right of his own. Vandenbussche throws a left as the linesmen come in.

Begin checks Wez Walz hard into the boards leaving Walz almost motionless on the ice. Henry goes right after Begin as they drop the gloves. Begin throws a couple of wild lefts before switching hands and throwing a right. Henry throws 4-5 rights as Begin returns fire with a couple of his own. Henry then wrestles Begin to the ice. Other Penalties: Begin received a boarding major and game misconduct.

They drop the gloves at the blueline and quickly grab on as they exchange locked-out rights. Konopka throws another right as both players struggle to get an arm free. Henry gets an arm free and throws two rights before Konopka pushes him up against the boards. Henry throws a short right while Konopka is bent over and the two wrestle around some more. Konopka gets his right free and misses with an uppercut and a right as Henry struggles to get loose. Henry shakes off his elbow pad as Konopka pushes Henry up against the glass and lands two rights. Henry gets Konopka's helmet off before Konopka throws him against the glass once again and throws a right. Henry finally gets free and throws three rights, connecting with two as they spin around. Henry then wrestles Konopka to his knees as the linesmen come in.

Greene pushes Henry to the ice in front of the Edmonton net. Henry gets back up and gives Greene a shot in retaliation, causing both to drop the gloves. They exchange right hands and Henry throws a right to the back of Greene's helmet before they wrestle around. Henry throws two rights as Greene returns fire with a right cross. Henry then rips Greene's helmet off and throws two short uppercuts and four rights to the back and side of Greene's head while Greene tries to move away from the punches. They grapple and Henry lands an uppercut and two rights to the back of Greene's head before the two fall to the ice.

Boughner and Henry meet up and drop the gloves near the benches. They grab ahold of each other fast and exchange a couple of quick lefts. Henry then lands a series of about three lefts. Boughner returns fire with lefts himself, the last one Henry attempts to avoid, but is leaning awkwardly, falls to the ice, and Boughner goes down with him. Henry's up fast and pulls Boughner up with him, but the linesmen break it up before they can continue.
